Prompt: Movie Marathon

"This is Halloween! This is Halloween!"Vince sang, running to toss a Halloween-themed garland around the living room.

"Halloween! Halloween!"Ben belted, running in after him, throwing Halloween confetti.

Courtney internally groaned at the sweeping she'd inevitably haven to do, but wisely kept silent. The boys could clean up. They had to contribute, anyway.

The band was having a non-scary Halloween movie fest. Hocus Pocus, The Nightmare Before Christmas (both a Halloween and Christmas film in Ben and Joel's opinions), and The Addams Family were on for the night.

And of course, sweet treats. Halloween themed popcorn, brownies, cookies, and drinks were displayed on the antique coffee table. And of course, candy, because what was this holiday without the unhealthy treat?

"Are we ready?"Vince asked.

"Yeah, I guess,"Timmy responded, adjusting his witch's hat.

They weren't costumed, just wearing halloween-themed clothes (such as Coco's dress, which featured witch's hats, brooms, and candy; Joel's spider web pants; or Vince's eggplant purple shirt, witch themed vest, candy themed tie, and black velvet blazer and pants. And monocle, of course). Timmy just did what he wanted. And Vince, as a matter of fact, who insisted his attire was not a costume. Because who dressed like that? Besides Vince, of course.

"Alright, let's start,"Vince said, with a clap.

They settled themselves on the couch (a process that took ten minutes), and then pressed play.

As the night wore on, several people fell asleep. Luke was first.

Stephen second.

Mod, third.

Moriah, Joel's new girlfriend, managed to make it halfway through The Nightmare Before Christmas, a feat compared to Luke, who was out twenty-two minutes into Hocus Pocus.

By the end of it, only Coco, Vince, and Timmy were awake (Joel fell asleep partway through the Addams Family, Ben fell asleep at the end credits of it, and was thereby disqualified) and celebrated with a questionable bloody drink.

"I'm very proud of us,"Courtney said, sipping her drink.

"Same,"Timmy said, dipping his pretzel in hummus. They were Snyder's, not the soft bread ones Courtney loved.

Vince was assembling a pre-bedtime sandwich: cookies filled with candy, brownies, and chocolate fudge.

"You're not eating that,"Timmy told him.

"I am,"Vince responded, and he did. Courtney has no doubt he would.

"You're a weirdo,"Timmy said, shaking his head, as Vince took a bite and the whole "sandwich" fell apart.

"Yeah, but I'm your favorite weirdo."
