Prompt: Leaves
"Okay, we're done,"Moriah said. "No more Driving License."
She turned the TV off.
"No!"Tiny Betty shrieked.
"Don't you wanna play in the leaves?"
Tiny Betty pouted. "Yes."
"Then let's do that."
She pulled on her coat, hat, boots, and scarf.
"Tell Meriwether to come."
Moriah called for their massive dog. She came bounding, nearly ramming into the little girl.
"Let's go!"Tiny Betty shrieked.
They ran outside, and dived into the piles of leaves.
"Yay! Yay! Yay!"she yelled, tossing the leaves into the air.
The dog rolled around, barking.
An old vintage Ford pulled over.
"Itty Bitty!"the driver, Vince, yelled. "Is it leaf time?"
"Yes!"
Vince, Joel, Ben, and Luke piled out.
"Leaf time!"Ben yelled.
"Wee!"Vince screamed.
They threw leaves and "wrestled" with each other. Later, they went inside and warmed up with hot chocolate and cinnamon cookies. And, to top off the night, they sat down to watch Practical Magic.
Itty Bitty fell asleep at one a.m. that night.
