Prompt: Up Against the Wall Kiss AND Candles, Lanterns, Fairy Lights

Yeah, I did both.

The house looked like a fall moodboard. Luke walked down the hallway, nearly tripping over a stray pumpkin. It was ceramic, but by a stroke of luck, was unharmed. His big toe, however, was not.

He grumbled as he wandered down the hallway, wondering why on earth the house was so large. He needed to find his wife immediately. His day has been awful and he needed to fix it.

"Lukey!"Courtney explained. "We're decorating."

"What's left to decorate?"he asked, joining his family. They were making fall wreaths.

"Well, the master bedroom, the boys bedroom, the laundry room, and our closets."

"What?"

Court smiled at him. "It'll be great."

He wasn't convinced, but he also wasn't going to complain. He didn't have the energy. And Coco was a big-time fall enthusiast. Well, she was an everything enthusiast, but she love loved fall.

"There's cinnamon rolls in the kitchen!"she called.

He was down for those.

He felt better after inhaling bread, cinnamon, sugar, and cream cheese. Coco joined him as he placed his plate in the sink.

"You okay?"

"Why wouldn't I be?"

"You have the-"she gestured to her face.

"The?"he prompted.

"Kinda sad face. Like, you're sad but you're not sad?"

He smiled and picked her up, her back against the wall.

"I'll be fine,"he said, before pressing his lips to hers.

As they broke apart, Coco whispered,"You okay?"

"Always."
