Slipping away from Lan Zhan was easy, Wei Ying thought to himself.  He could just teleport anywhere he liked and the best thing about that was no one could tell him off either for so many reasons.

Firstly, he was a Celestial now.

Secondly, he was an Immortal, and that basically meant they had to live with him forever...

Thirdly, he was a Celestial Dragon who lived in Cloud Recesses, and as everyone knows, Dragons are eternally revered.

In his mind that equalled no rules and certainly, no getting any punishment.

Plus, the bestest thing about teleporting was that he could teleport right into Lan Zhan’s lap, and the funniest of those occurrences was when Lan Zhan had once been in a meeting with some lesser Sect Leaders.

Worse for Wei Ying was, Lan Zhan had simply held him tighter when he would have apologetically wriggled away, and shamelessly continued the meeting with a straight face, as if it was a natural occurrence.

The punishment had come later, and so had both of them.

But regarding this, Lan Zhan would probably panic as would anyone, if Wei Ying kept teleporting anywhere suddenly and by the whim. So Wei Ying decided to be a good boy and told Lan Zhan where he was going to be.

Mornings were spent in lazy kisses before the inevitable separation as Lan Zhan meditated in the mornings. Perhaps there was no need any more but once a routine had so severely been established, it was hard to break away from it.

Wei Ying would spend that valuable time dozing because as he justified, it was still night time somewhere...

Breakfast was a feast of love and food, bites in between kisses and a harmony that floated around their bubble of peace and contentment. This simple joy was merited through sacrifices and ordeals that only their hearts knew of, a well deserved tranquility that they now rejoiced in.

Lan Zhan thought he would never, ever tire from looking into brilliant silver eyes shining with newfound zeal for the coming day. This childlike wonder that he got to share with this precious man was a balm for his soul, and he would never cease to be grateful for it.

"My beautiful love...what have you got planned for today?" He asked brightly, kissing the side of Lan Zhan’s mouth.

Every gesture of his spoke of love and Lan Zhan no longer needed to hear those exact words now. Wei Ying shone with a love that burned brightly from within, lighting up wherever he was like a fiery torch.

Every kiss, every touch, every gaze was filled with this euphoria that they were together forever.

It made Lan Zhan look forward to every single day and night.

But his answer...did not make him feel joy.

"Meetings." He looked like he had swallowed a toad.

Wei Ying giggled, a bright showering of glittery flowers.

"Do you want me to join you? I can catch Zhitiao later." He offered.

Lan Zhan would do his best to protect Wei Ying from anything boring. Though sometimes he wondered if by not letting him attend, he was actually saving the other guests from the hurricane that was Wei Ying in a mischievous mood.

So forlornly, he shook his head.

"Aww! How can I let you go out to work looking like this?" Wei Ying swooped in and kissed the other side of his mouth.

"And what does Wei Ying suggest?" Suddenly Lan Zhan looked very interested in what Wei Ying was going to say next.

Wei Ying tapped his nose, pretending to think hard.

"I shall have to arm you." He decided, looking very serious.

"Arm me?" Lan Zhan stared into those mischievous starlight eyes, with the naughtiest smile on his beautiful face.

"Yes of course, my love! Arm you with kisses...now...how many will you need?" Pretending had its own rewards...and Wei Ying was struggling to hold his laughter inside.

"Fifty." Lan Zhan stated, but he was still pouting.

"What about my poor lips?" There was fake horror.

"Wei Ying has a talisman for chapped lips..." He was reminded.

"It doesn't work, remember what happened?" Wei Ying demanded. "My lips were swollen for ages...

"Mn." Lan Zhan sounded pleased.

"And then I started talking with a lisp. That wasn't funny."

"But did Wei Ying suffer chapped lips?"

"No, but that's not the po-"

"Then it works." Lan Zhan insisted.

"You don't have time for fifty kisses...." Wei Ying exclaimed, relieved that hexwas correct for now.

"Twenty-five now, Twenty-five later...it is an excellent deal." Lan Zhan would have launched in to start claiming what was owed, but self preservation kicked in and Wei Ying was holding his small hand against Lan Zhan’s mouth.

"I think you're right, something is better than nothing." He quickly fished out the old talisman. "I haven't had time to fix it...let me quickly see if there's something I can do."

"Mn." Lan Zhan could not actually speak but his tongue came out to play with Wei Ying’s fingers.

Wei Ying moaned and worked faster, borrowing Lan Zhan’s brush to change a few strokes, while Lan Zhan began actively sucking on two fingers.

"I got it!" He quickly applied it to Lan Zhan’s mouth, forgetting that he had not actually tested it out yet.

Lan Zhan looked normal so maybe it was going to be alright....

Wei Ying lifted his face and bent his lips to Lan Zhan’s mouth, gently sucking his bottom lip.

This kiss was beautiful as much as sweet, lifting their spirits in unity. Unbridled joy burst into flames in their hearts as Wei Ying initiated this kiss, more a meeting of souls than skin to skin.

These feelings were magical and addictive, little bursts of electricity running over his skin as he wanted to make it count. Lan Zhan was intoxicating, a heady taste that made him feel higher than any high.

Better than any wine he had tasted, even Emperor's Smile.

When they parted, Wei Ying’s eyes were closed, dazed from that magnificent kiss.

And then he saw Lan Zhan’s face.
