Chapter 2

When I recovered from the loss of my family I told everyone good bye and left when I was in the woods a portal opened suddenly and Reptile stepped through along with Erron Black when they noticed me they both charged first I round house kicked Reptile and I could have sworn he heard his jaw crack but at the same time Erron went to punch me which I countered by using my free arms catching his fist then with the other arm bringing it down and broke his arm then spiraled into a fighting stance then Erron and Reptile climbed back through the portal and out came Ferra/Torr and I yelled "DAMN IT" looking around trying to spot something to use to my advantage THERE! Looking at a small cliff when Ferra/Torr charged I ran up the cliff did a back flip off it and landed on Torrs back then kicked Ferra off then I pulled my sword and bring it down but before I could I was roped and pulled off of Torr looking up it was Erron who roped me then Reptile disarmed me and knocked me out. When I woke up I was in a cell looking around it was dark a wooden slab for a bed and a tray with water,soup,and bread I ate the food I was curious how long I had been out so I went to the cell door and asked the guard he said "Uhhhh about three days I think." I thanked him and tripped over something it was a person I rolled the person into the light and saw a girl she had long Brown hair put up in a ponytail and she was beat up pretty bad she had a few cuts and bruises and one long deep gash going from her shoulder to her elbow. Stripping off a few pieces of cloth off my prison attire and cleaned the wounds with what was left of the water then used the rest of the cloth as bandages then I walked over to the guard and asked "What happened to her and why also where's my stuff?" The guard answered "You are full of questions as for the answers she got into a bad fight without a shiv (for those who don't know it's a small shank prisoners use for a weapon) and my guess she probably got out of line as for your stuff it's probably in the inspection wing." Once again I thanked him and walked away then the sound of stone on stone started I looked at the wall opposite of the door and sure enough a prisoner on the other side said "psst over here I want to talk to you" as I came closer I noticed it was an old man I asked what he wanted and he replied "The girl she's been a good friend to me she stuck up to the higher ranking prisoners for me and protected me I saw you take care of her earlier and I want to know if she will live." I looked at the man and said "Yes but if her arm gets infected I might have to amputate to keep it from spreading if it gets bad and I can only supply her with bandages for maybe the next few days if you have any spare cloth it can help and see if you can get transferred over here I'm going to have to do something." The old man nods and talks to the guard and brings over spare cloth when he finished the transfer he asked what I had to do and u told him "I'm going to seal her wound so I can be sure it won't get infected but we must cut back on water in just in case." The old man didn't question why for he knew it might depend on his friends health but after awhile he said his name was Toby and I told him mine we became close friends in the weeks I protected him during recess hours and we took turns changing the girls bandages after awhile I told him it was time we managed to get a hold of some pills to keep the girl asleep but after we got her to take them successfully so we didn't have to hold her still during the procedure but when it was time for me to start Toby asked "How will you seal the wound?" I replied "just don't freak out." I summoned a small ball of fire and had Toby hold the wound together while I sealed it with fire once I was done I instantly poured water onto it then afterwards Toby wouldn't come near me then after I while he asked "how..." I cut him off saying "I'm a member of the Shirai Ryu I'm Grandmaster Hanzo Hasashi's second apprentice and the first he taught how to use the powers of a demon and before you ask yes Hanzos was once Scorpion." After a few minutes he decided I was telling the truth and decided I wasn't going to harm him then suddenly the girl woke up and kicked me across the cell and I slammed against the stone wall then she stood between me and Toby I said "Look I don't want to fight you." She didn't reply she just waited for me to stand and when I did she started attacking I kept blocking and telling her I didn't want to fight but she went to far she tried to kick me in the dick and almost instantly Toby grabbed her leg tripping her and before she hit the floor I caught her she apologized fir trying to kill me and all that then when I asked her name she stared at me with her Brown eyes and said "My name is Lara" then she smiled.
