Chapter 7

I woke up to my son crying before Lara could react I was in his room and there was the specter of Lui Kang holding my one year old son while his little five month old sister was being held by the specter of Kitana and before they could react they both had a spear through there stomach then Lara grabbed both of the children and ran while I dealt with them but before I could do anything they both jumped through window and escaped.
~10 years later~
I woke up to arguing from the living room Lara was going in there but I told her "I'll take them this time" I walked down stairs and when I got there they were at the door I walked up to the door and unlocked it when I opened it I was tackled by Takeda then he got up and as helped me up he said "Bout time I was let in" he looked at Toby he was named after the old man who we now call grandpa I then looked at Toby and asked "Why didn't you let your uncle in?" He looked at the floor and said "Because he might have been here to kill us" then Takeda released his spear like weapons I couldn't remember what he called them then he said "What if I am?" He started walking towards Toby then I released my spear held on to it and put it to his throat and said "Then you wouldn't mind me taking a little off the top" Takeda deactivated his weapons and pushed my hand away Lara was sitting on the couch and said "Come on James you could've done it" then the kids got wide eyed and asked me if I was 'The James' Hanzo had been telling them story's of me and they had never heard my or Lara's real name so we could avoid these questions Hanzo had made all our of adventures seem like they were legends then they turned to Lara and said "That means you have to be Lara!" Takeda was laughing at that point and I just punched him in the gut and I explained to them that we weren't heroes but we were popular with a lot of people Lara then walked over to me and said "Why don't you and Takeda go do a bit of training you could use it" she then poked my arm and walked into the kitchen as me and Takeda walked to the back yard the kids followed us and they watched Takeda threw a series of punches then I blocked all but one and he landed it right on my jaw then I ducked and spun in a circle knocking his legs from under him then I ran up the wood support to the house and did a back flip off then Takeda flipped up and got out of the way I landed with my back to him he then flung his whip at me and I put up my arm up and it wrapped around my arm I felt him activate the blades on them he tried pulling me towards him and I stood my ground then with all my strength I pulled him and sent him flying into the trees Lara was watching smiling then she tapped our daughter's shoulder and said "Come on Alice I need your help with something" as they walked off Takeda came out of the woods and punched my arm I had a few scratches,bruises, and cuts but he had one thing extra a nose bleed we messed around some more and let Toby look at our weapons some I felt a strong pain in the back of my head and Takeda felt it to being he has a habit of reading minds but we both knew what it was so I pinned my self to a tree and had Takeda tie me up with everything we could he then ran to the temple were Raiden had been staying during his visit to the village and I hadn't seen him since Alice was born but after awhile Raiden and Takeda showed up and When Raiden was scanning my mind Toby thought it was a bad thing because to him it looked like a bad man was putting a piece of lightning through his dads head so he grabbed a stick and ran up and hit Raiden in the back Takeda took him inside while Raiden finished when he did he was going to leave I said "No Raiden please stick around I'm sure Lara would love to see you again and my son did hit you with a stick" Raiden thought a moment then said "Ok I don't have much to do" we went inside after he untied me and when Toby saw him he flipped and Takeda couldn't stop him he tried punching Raiden by he caught his punch then shocked him a little that made Toby laugh we were having a blast talking catching each other up on stuff and remembering the past then Raiden laughed a bit then turned to Toby and asked "Now who are you dear child?" Toby smiled and said "I'm Toby who are you" Raiden and Toby were having a good time talking then Lara came downstairs and noticed Raiden and ran up to him and gave him a big hug telling him hi and having a bit of small talk she then came to were I was sitting and hugged me saying that the others should be showing up soon and then I remembered today was the day I was killed a second time we had always had a get together to celebrate the day u returned to the living completely then Alice came down and she was shy enough but to see Raiden for the first time must have scared her a lot then there was a knock in the door when we opened it it was Cassie and Jacquie then in between then was a girl I couldn't ever remember then Lara ran past us and hugged her and said to me "I want you to meet my friend Nisa"
