When everything is going great it seems like time flies away. In a snap, a month and a half passed since (Y/N) and Kai started to live with Hawks. The first week was a little difficult to deal with, due to Kai not being used to normal life at all. Having time to eat, sleep, bathe, play, and watch tv was too much for his tiny mind.
However, in the third week, he started to understand and accept this new way to live. Now Kai founds everything too funny. "Way funnier than in the cage", he quoted.
This is a relief to (Y/N), that was exhausted, to say at least. Keigo tried to help when he could after he came home from the agency but (Y/N) didn't let him. Feeling a burden already for wasting his money on food and clothes to them, she just couldn't let him lose his moments of rest.
Keigo on other hand was annoyed with her stubbornness. He wanted to help her, get the young woman to understand that she was not alone anymore and he wants to help to take care of the baby bird. It's so hard for her to understand that this isn't just part of the 'hero job' anymore?
Nevertheless, (Y/N) just ignored him.
But now this is water under the bridge. After more than a month of living together, things are calming down a little. Well, almost everything.
"OMG, WHAT IS THAT?" Mirko's voice came from the door, entering Hawks' office. "When I thought you can't be any weirder."
"Shut up, ok? Somethings I can't control..." he said embarrassed, trying to hide his treasure from her with his wings.
"Hawks, why the fuck are there SO MANY ROCKS on your desk?"
"I- I just find it." he pouted.
"Whyyy????" Mirko is so lost with this behavior.
"I don't know, called my attention and I thought..." his expression changed quickly just by thinking of the winged woman.
"Ew~ You not giving this shit to (Y/N), right?"
"No! At least n-not yet. And down call it shit. It was really hard to find them, ok?"
"Hawks, these are rocks. UGLY ROCKS!"
"You're wrong, this is a real treasure. And your opinion doesn't matter, isn't for you anyways."
"If you gonna give her a rock, why not a... I don't know, maybe a diamond? A ruby? An emerald? And man, since when are you courting her?"
