Chapter 16-Gotcha!

I am doing my paper works when someone barge in on the door.

"Mr. Imperial is currently attending a meeting in the conference room--"

"What on earth are you doing here?"it was said with dislike.

I met Jasmin--Alexander's younger sister--eyes. It was full of hatred.

"I work here as Mr. Imperial's secretary."

"What?! Where's Diana?"mataas ang boses ni Jasmin.

"He fired her.."

It seems like she doesn't want me here. Its getting awkward on my part.

"You had the audacity to show your face and least of all work here after the hell my brother had been through when you left him."hate is visible in her voice.

"I just did the right thing.."naiilang kong wika.

"Do you know what happened to my brother when you left him?"sarcastic niyang wika.

"I know I broke his heart but I think he moved on.."

"Huh!? You think that's all?! Its not that simple!"she hissed."You'll ruin him again. You shouldn't be here."she said in a cold bitch voice. She stated what's running into my mind.

"Stop meddling Alexandria."wika ng seryosong boses ni Alexander na biglang dumating.

"Meddling?! I am just concern with you!"she hurled.

Xander's eyes softened while looking at Jasmin. Hinihintay ko na pagtuunan niya ako ng tingin pero hindi niya ginawa.

"I know. Mag-usap na lang tayo sa bahay."he turned his eyes on his companion which is his older brother Alexus."You owe me this. Take her somewhere that will cool her head."

Nakakaintindi naman na iginiya ni Alexus si Jasmin palabas ng office ni Xander.

"Let's go Jazzy.."

"What?! I can't believe this! You'll just follow kuya Xander's order?!"nadidinig ko pa na reklamo ni Jasmin habang hinihila siya ni Alexus palabas. Inirapan pa ako ni Jasmin bago siya tuluyang makalabas ng pintuan.

Why do I sense her deep hatred towards me? She won't get mad at me just like that with a simple break up..

Sinundan ko ng tingin si Xander na naupo sa swivel chair niya. Humarap na ito sa computer niya. He is totally giving me a cold shoulder.

Lumapit ako sa table.

"I did not call you. What do you need?"he looked at me with his poker eyes.

"Jasmin hates me. What happened to you after we broke up?"

Awtomatikong nagsalubong ang kilay ni Xander.

"Go back to your work Mrs. White."

"Stop ignoring my question."hindi ko na napigilan na bahidan ng inis ang boses ko.

"Past na 'yon. Wala na tayong dapat pag-usapan."he sounds dismissing. Lalo lang akong nainis.

"Huh! Why? Does it hurt when we talk about our past?"I smirked.

Umangat ang sulok ng labi ni Xander kaya nawala ang ngisi ko.

"Look at me now? Do I look hurt? I moved on. I become successful. And you? You look pitiful."he mocked.

I stopped myself from talking back. Hindi din naman papatalo si Xander at wala ako sa mood na makipagtalo sa kanya. Ibinalik na din niya ang atensyon niya sa computer. After giving him a long stare ay bumalik na din ako sa upuan ko.
