Part 2: Friends

6 months later...          

          The Togashi family pile into their small van heading out to start their day. The kids are off to school, parents off to make money at their high-class jobs. Of course, you didn't pick out this family for their good looks. They had money, which meant they had clothes, food, and a sense of false security. They think they're untouchable due to their social standing. Which is what makes robbing their house that much more satisfying. As the van pulls out of the driveway you make your way to the back door. It slides open with ease not even a creak in the floorboard. You take off your shoes and enter creeping through the house to the bathroom. 

          You turn on the bath shedding your several layers of clothing. You look in the mirror watching the young girl staring back. Your hair which was once all jet black just like Tenko and Hana's is now half white. The underneath of your hair and tips, a frosted white color. But that wasn't the only thing that had changed. You find yourself always cold as if you had no shirt on in cold weather. Goosebumps always threaten to appear on your skin and you're always on the verge of shivering. Besides feeling almost too cold to survive, you don't get affected by cold or warm weather. The only thing that seems to do the trick is very hot weather or baths. Don't even get started on your quirk. It was a dangerous thing you were cursed with that has killed every person you've come in contact with for the past 6 months. Even better, when you use it for more than a minute your blood goes cold and you can hardly move. If you were to use your quirk without a way to stay warm you would kill yourself. So you learned to suppress your quirk, never using it unless absolutely necessary. Of course, because your luck is just that good, you learned that too late. One of Japan's largest manhunts was started a few weeks ago for the dangerous Black Ice Villain. They were looking for a mass murderer they are calling a quirk serial killer. Luckily they thought they were looking for someone different so you didn't have much to worry about. Accept your quirk must stay a secret, if anyone ever saw it you would be shipped off to Taruas faster than you could say 'let me explain'. 

          You spit at your reflection trying not to break the mirror and hop into the bath. You nearly melt in the water as heat floods back into your body. After scrubbing all the dirt off your body and washing your hair; you get out of the bath and head to the laundry room. After putting your clothes in the washing machine you head to the kitchen. You flip on the radio and go through the fridge and cupboards stuffing your face with food.

"And this morning we have some new information on the Black Ice killer. This unknown assailant has been murdering people in cold blood for close to six months. This villain is responsible for the deaths of 15 people. This Villain is now assumed responsible for the horrific destruction and mured of the Shumora household."

You freeze in place staring at the radio. Your heart racing with anger and pain.

"What the hell! I didn't kill my family you assholes!"

"After attacking the Shumora family, this deadly individual changed to only attacking lone people. I have the Ninja Hero Edegshot with me this morning. He has been working closely with the police to discover the identity of this evil killer."

"Thank you for having me this morning. I would like to start off by presenting a rough description of the type of person we are looking for. This person is most likely a young woman in her early to mid-twenties. She lures her victims away from others easily due to her soft outward appearance. I would advise people to avoid alleyways and if anyone looks suspicious contact the closest Hero Agency immediately."

"And why do you think the killer changed from attacking families to lone people?"

"We think the father Shumora, Kotaro had some type of contact with this person in his life. It is very possible this was a revenge murder. We are of course looking into suspects close to the family."
