Tobias POV
After about a week, everything is back to normal. We got a free week of football last Friday because we were chosen to go to the finals instead of Jake's team so they have to play another semis game. They won so now we have to play them again this Friday. The formal is also on Saturday.
We also leave for Florida with everyone on Sunday so everyone is stressed about everything going on.
"Tobias have you started to pack?" Mom shouts.
"No Mom! It's Wednesday!" I shout back from upstairs.
"And you have football and basketball practice tomorrow! Then on Friday you have the finals, and Saturday you will probably sleep in and be out with friends all day at your dance." She shouts.
I smile and run downstairs.
"I'll get it done. I promise. Just not today." I say.
"I don't know why I listen to you." Mom says.
"Because you love me." I say.
Mom rolls her eyes and continues gathering things into her purse.
"Where are you going?" I ask.
"We're going out with Hana." Dad says. "We will be home at around ten."
I check the time.
6:30
"Ready, Evelyn?" Dad asks.
"Yeah, let me go grab my phone." She says, running upstairs.
"See you later, son." Dad says.
Mom comes back downstairs and takes dads hand.
"Alright, 10:00 we will be back!" Mom says.
They walk out and shut the door behind them. I watch as they pull up next door and pick up Hana before driving down the street.
I pick up my phone and call Tris.
"Are your brothers home?" I ask.
"No and my mom just left with your parents." She says.
"Are your brothers coming home?" I ask.
"No, I'm pretty sure they're spending the night with Mar and Shauna." She says.
"Ok." I say, hanging up.
I slip my shoes on and grab a jacket. I run out the door and up to her house. I knock on the door aggressively until she opens it.
I quickly step inside and shut the door behind us. I grab Tris by her waist and pull her close to me before I kiss her. She gasps and wraps her hands around my neck, kissing me back.
"I missed you so much." I say. "I hate fighting with you at school."
"Me too. We haven't met in a couple days." Tris says.
"Saturday." I say. "I haven't gotten to kiss you since Saturday."
"Well I guess we better make up all those overdue kisses." She says.
I kiss her again and lift her off of her feet.
"Who's sweatshirt is that?" I ask, smirking.
She's wearing my black sweatshirt that I gave her when it was snowing.
"It's my favorite." She says.
I kiss her again.
"What do you want to do?" She asks.
