If none of this existed, she would have a happy life with her mother. Her mother would still be alive. She would live and grow up with her mother. Her birth mother. Even if she would unsaidly skip the lines of her unnamely vampire bloodline. And be entirely human.
Just on the outside.

Although she was human now, and had genetically the blood cells of a vampire,
it wouldn't be the same. She would live freely, inside the house of her family. And feels what it is like to have a mother.

Maybe she was waiting for her to read her writings. To be born into the world, and see her face for the first time. And she would be the first to see her face.
Although babies don't remember their mother's faces much after birth, it could be such a different tell-tale, a different life for her, and her life journey of 19 years of living. She would have, undoubtedly-

A mother.

Maybe it was intended to be this way.

She dreamt.

The air felt serene. Until he spoke.

"And.." She felt, the long silence killing her, and that his voice seemingly to float up into the air.

"Your mother didn't want it." He spoke silently.

"Want what?" She replied.

She was now back in the previous library. Which she didn't want. To which she reminded herself that she was in a dream. 'Oh, so was he now in her dream?'
As it slightly echoed against the walls of her head.

"The crown.." He continued after she didn't respon, with a rather large parting on her lips. "It was supposed to pass down, to her parents, but like her, they refused, said they didn't want to get involved in.. political things..." He spoke.

"But otherwise, her grandparents acclaimed it. Stayed as rulers and wore the crown but only for a short while until they died. And was supposed to be taken by their children. But they.. have other plans. They'd rather stayed as the dukes of the house. And your mother.. is human. Normal. And uncrowned. As well, as all she does was go to the library and learns few words, and then the herbs. Her herbs can do wonders."

"Then it came to the moment where she refused it, making the whole kingdom in distraught and astray. It was not her fault though. She wanted to do something else with her life. " He continued across the upbringing silence in the room, looking at her.

"And then she had you."

"She-"

She was cut short, "She was supposed to be the queen." He explained. "The ruler and the leader of the vampires in Halavaírne. But she didn't. She wanted to stay the sides of a while and ruling it from there while keeping it at bay. She was
one of the hybrid immortals. As where she had a vampire blood, but still had a human physique, and they could wherever choose where they age, or die whenever. She had the power to rule..." He spoke silently, he looked away.

"And now it's your choice."

"What?"

"Either you take the crown, or it will be buried forever in the house of your ruins.
You are, after all, the last of the blood."

She couldn't speak. Averithe had no words. Nor how to make sense of her tongue that was tied, and how no sound could manage to get out. But she didn't, couldn't day a thing. Not a word. Nothing.
