"It's finally lunch! I've been starving, and that class felt like it dragged on for ages!"

You walked through the hallways with Akaashi, who was holding both of your lunches.

"It did seem awfully long today,"

He handed you the lunches,
"This is Bokuto-san's classroom. I'll go get him,"

He knocked on the door, and was let in by another third year who at this point knew why he was there.

After a few moments, the door was flung open by the team captain, how quickly turned his head to you.

"You're here!"

You matched his energy,
"I'm here!"

He tried to hug you, but you quickly dodged it.

He turned to you with a hurt expression,
"What was that for?!"

You gave him an apologetic smile,
"I don't want to drop the food!"

You handed the lunches to Akaashi, and then extended your arms with a welcoming smile.

He instantly brightened up, rushing over into your arms, wrapping his large arms around you tightly.

You tilted your head towards Akaashi as if to say you wanted him to join in on the hug, but he shook his head, a satisfied smile on his face.

The hug eventually ended, and the three of you started to walk outside to eat.

You sat down at a wooden table that was dwarfed by the towering trees surrounding it.

"This spot is nice, the trees really give it that extra oomph,"

Bokuto puffed his chest out proudly,
"Me and Akaashi always sit at this table out here!"

"No we don't,"

"You don't have to tell him that!"

The three of you ate your lunch, conversing about your days, with Bokuto occasionally asking to have some of Akaashi's food.

"C'mon Akaashi! Just one bite!"

The dark haired boy continued to eat his food, almost as if he was taunting his friend,
"You have your own food, Bokuto san,"

He whined,
"But I ate it all already! Just one bite, please!?"

The ravenette wasn't budging, so you held out a piece of your food out to him.

"You can have some of mine, Bokuto-senpai!"

His eyes lit up,
"Really?!"

You smiled with a nod, and he chomped down on your food, happily eating it.

"You shouldn't indulge his behavior, (f/n),"

"Awww, c'mon Keiji, it's just this once!"

He couldn't stay cross with you, his facial expression easing at yours.

You felt your arm being hugged by the captain,
"Hehe, you're so nice (l/n),"

"I'm glad you think so!"

Lunch soon ended, meaning you and your fellow second year had to split up from the large owl.

"Don't forget to come to practice!"

You waved goodbye to him,
"I won't!"

You bowed down,
"I'm (f/n) (l/n), I'll be taking a photo of the volleyball team today, I hope to work well with you all!"
