"Well don't you just look dapper, Sugawara-senpai!"

The third year was very well dressed, the same applied to his family. His parents had purchased your services for their yearly family photo, and conveniently forgot to notify him.

"(L/n)? What're you doing here?"

You held your camera up for a few moments so he'd figure it out.

Sugawara was internally freaking out, though you wouldn't be able to tell that from the smile plastered on his face. What if his parents embarrassed him in front of you?! What if his little brother did something to embarrass him?!

"Koushi dear, come over here, we don't have all day you know!"

With a slight pink on his cheeks he replied,
"I-I'm coming mom!"

He sat down on a chair while his parents stood behind him, and his younger brother sat comfortably in his lap.

"Mr. Sugawara, could I ask you to walk forward a little bit? Perfect!"

But then his younger brother started to fuss in his lap. The little boy didn't want to take pictures, he wanted to go outside and play! And he didn't want to wear these uncomfortable clothes! He was unhappy and he was making it everyone's problem.

"[Little brother name] calm down, it'll only be for a little bit!" Sugawara tried to calm his younger sibling, but nothing seemed to work.

"No! I don't wanna!"

It was time to bring out the big guns. You approached the young boy with a warm smile.

"Hey there buddy! What seems to be the problem?"

The little boy seemed to be a bit nervous, after all, you were a complete stranger.
"I don't like taking pictures..."

"Don't worry, it'll be over before you know it! And if you're a good boy, I'll even give you candy when it's done!"

A sparkle could be seen in the boy's eyes at the prospect of sweets.

"Okay! I'll be good, I promise!"

You went back to your place with the camera, and Sugawara couldn't help but fall harder for you. You were so good with his younger brother! (Even if it was only for a few minutes). You'd probably be great with kids!

The picture was taken, and the boy got his candy.

While you and Sugawara's parents were discussing payment, his younger brother couldn't help but observe something.

"Hey, is that the person you like?"

He went into an immediate state of shock.

"W-WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT?"

His younger brother continued,
"You said the person you liked was nice, and that he liked taking pictures!"

He slapped his hand over his brother's mouth. Thankfully it seemed that you were too preoccupied with his parents to overhear what his brother revealed. With a relieved sigh he removed his hand.

"Hey! Why'd you do that! That's not nice!"

He apologetically hugged his younger brother,
"I'm sorry, can you forgive me?"

Thankfully his brother didn't hold a grudge.

"Thanks for being great clients, have a nice day!"

They all waved goodbye as they made their way home.

"Koushi, was that the boy you like?"

"I was going to ask that too. You seemed pretty nervous around him,"

He regretted ever confiding in his parents.
