[PARENT 1], [PARENT 2]! IM HOME!"

Your parents came to the door, giving you a hug as they welcomed you back to your home.

"Did you have fun in Tokyo? You didn't get into any trouble there, right? You know, there's a lot of crime in the city,"

You collapsed onto the couch,
"Nothing bad happened! Can you make me some [favorite snack/drink] please?"

"Are you sure? [breakfast/lunch/dinner] is gonna be ready soon,"

You whined,
"Pleeeaaassseee?"

Your parents gave in, handing you the object of your desire, which you quickly consumed.

"Thanks! You're the best parents ever!"

"Mhm,"

You missed being home. Being able to laze about on your couch, and having a real mattress to sleep on, with familiar blankets.

But you couldn't help but miss sharing a room with a friend.

"I still can't believe you got to go to Tokyo for two whole weeks! Lucky!"

You chuckled as you ate your lunch with your friends,
"It was nice, but I barely got to do any touristy things! The only thing I ever bought were a few drinks from a vending machine and books,"

One of your friends pat you on the back consolingly.

"So... were any of them... you know...?"

"Yes, they were all hot. I knew you were gonna ask something like that,"

Your friend defended themselves,
"I have needs!"

The three of you erupted into a chorus of laughter before calming back down.

"No but for real, you should've seen the legs on... I shouldn't say his name, but you've got to believe me,"

They nodded in agreement.

A knock on the classroom door could be heard, and your friend got up.

"I'll get it,"

A few moments and they returned.

"Who was it?"

"Some first year, super short. I asked him what he wanted, but I think I might've scared him off..."

You snatched a chip from their open bag,
"Next time, you should let me greet them,"

"MY CHIP! Also, if we let you answer the door, then we'd have non-stop visitors,"

You snatched another chip,
"What's that supposed to mean?"

"When's (l/n)-senpai gonna show up? I was gonna say hi during lunch, but there was a super scary person at the door, so I couldn't!"

Sugawara picked a ball off the ground,
"Yeah, I've been wondering the same thing. He's usually here by now, isn't he?"

You suddenly awoke, raising your aching head from your wooden desk.

'Did I really fall asleep? I swear I got the 8 hours too...'

You looked around at the empty classroom, feeling slightly betrayed that no one had woken you up.

You took out your phone, opening your messaging app.

[you]: "What did the bird say to the mouse while it was leaving?"

[Fukunaga]: "what?"

[you]: "goodbye"

[Fukunaga]: "..."
