Chapter 21

'I'll fix everything'

The two stayed silent until Taehyung decided to call a cab. He didn't wanna be at the apartment nor somewhere familiar. His heartbeat was increasing with every step he takes

The thought of losing her scared him the most. He never expected that she'll go this far. He was terrified. 'What if it was too late?' his mind was racing through the possibilities that might occur if he didn't come at the right moment.

Taehyung placed her down as they both got out of the building. He immediately held her hands as if she was about to run away from him.

Words couldn't describe how terrorized he was by the event he fronted earlier.

As the cab arrived the couples made their way in. Taehyung wanted to take her to the place where he first confessed his love for Y/n.

During the ride to the park Y/n rested her head on his shoulder and held his forearm. Everything felt like a dream for her.

Taehyung's mind was blaming him for everything. As usual. Those feelings of regret were coming back to him and the only remedy that could ease his mind were drugs.

But Y/n was way important than that right now.

No one has dared to utter a single word until now. They were both immersed in their own thoughts.

After a ride of twenty-five minutes, they arrived at the park. The driver pulled off in front of the tree where the couples shared an unforgettable memory.

Y/n's eyes softened as she spots the place across her. Her eyes travelled from the view to Taehyung where he was sitting there looking at her with a worried expression.

"Come on princess let's get out." he finally spoke with a deep tone.

The two got out and walked over the bench near the tree. They were both hesitating to speak up. Both were waiting for the other to make the first move.

Taehyung's hand was holding Her's tightly than ever.

"What are we doing here?" Y/n decided to speak. Her eyes fell upon Taehyung's face waiting for his response.

The man looked so cute under the sunny sky. The sun's ray was hitting his face past the leaves of the tree. He looked so adorable with that messy hair.

Taehyung stared at her confused state for what seemed like eternity before he pulled her int a tight hug.

Y/n closed her eyes as he welcomed her in his embrace. Her arms wrapped around his frame.

Again, she chose to stay silent.

"Taehyung?" she called his name faintly when she felt his body shaking uncontrollably as if he was crying. "Taehyung?" she said pushing him lightly to break the hug in order to see his face.

But Taehyung pulled her back forcefully hugging her tightly. "It's all my fault" he spoke trying to hold back his sobs.

"I'm so sorry Y/n" the girl felt Taehyung's hand stroking her hair. "I'm sorry for leaving you when you needed me the most" he cupped her face breaking the embrace.
