Hope's pov
I just finished my daily werewolf training with the pack and I'm headed to my room.
"Attention all students, please present to the founders' hall!"
I hear Caroline say through the speaker right before I can enter my room. I sigh turning around and heading to the founders' hall with the rest of the students.
We all sit on the chairs in the big room waiting for Caroline to begin.
"Yesterday, I was informed that the sports competition that takes place every year has changed its terms. This year we will be hosting a small tournament, if you want to call it that, between four schools. Us, Mystic Falls High, Beacon Hills High, and Devenford Prep, in which we will also play lacrosse. Also, a student from Beacon Hills will be staying with us,"
Students start whispering, some saying that it's not a good idea to have a human student here, others that it might be dangerous.
"I know what you're thinking, a human student at our school. Yes, Alaric and I thought it would be a great test for many of you to control your powers and emotions with a human around. So, anything magical, enchanted, witch, werewolf, or vampire related will be kept hidden while the competition takes place and the student is here. The matches will take place on our field. Any questions?"
Wade stands up "Yes, is the student a girl or a boy?"
"A girl, her name is Y/n Martin and they will arrive on Monday. Now back to classes everyone!"
As the students leave the hall, I turn to Lizzie and Josie who are sitting behind me.
"Lacrosse? Really?" I say.
"Apparently, yes..." Josie says.
"But we don't know how to play lacrosse!" I point out.
"With a little magic, anything is possible!" Lizzie says with an evil smile on her face.
"No magic, remember?" Josie tells her sister who rolls her eyes.
"Oh come on, it's not like I'm gonna use magic to win the game, just a little not to lose it..." She says like it makes any difference.
"It's the same thing!" I say
"Yeah, yeah, whatever!"
"Hope?" I hear someone call me. I turn around and see Caroline.
"Yes?"
"I wanted to ask. It's ok with you if Y/n would be your roommate?"
"Yeah sure, no problem!" I say.
"Ok good. Now," she looks at the twins "don't you have somewhere else to be?"
"Yeah, we're going. Don't worry!" The blond twin says grabbing me and Josie and walking away.
