Chapter #28

"So where did you learn about this legend?" Hope asks turning to her roommate who's sitting at the table in their room, looking on her laptop. Yn turns around facing the auburn who's laying comfortably on her bed reading a book from the pile next to her. They've been sitting and reading, trying to find anything relevant to the "Dread Doctors" since they got back, which was about five hours ago. Yn knows it is a very small chance they will find anything at all but she won't back away now.

"I read it in a book back home. It didn't gave many details, just what I told you. And honestly I never thought I'd have to use that information." She says turning back to her computer not wanting to look Hope in the eye while she's lying to her. And also while she was trying to find a solution to help Hope find out more and help her pack to defeat the Doctors. "Find anything yet?"

The Mikaelson sighs, "No, nothing. Why is it so hard to find some Nazi freaks?" She says exasperated as she throws her head back putting the book over her face. Yn stops what she's doing and suddenly stands up making Hope look at her confused. The brunette quickly sits on the bed, next to the auburn who's now up.

"What if they weren't labeled as supernatural creatures?" She says as a smile makes its way onto the Martin's lips. Hope looks at her confused before asking, "What do you mean?"

"In the book I read it didn't say anything about the possibility of them being supernatural. What if, what we're looking for is actually in a normal book about the World War 2?" Yn suggests not knowing if this might help or not, but it might lead them to the Beast of Gevaudan.

"And where will we find these books?"

"Here, if you have books that aren't related to the supernatural." Hope opens her mouth to speak but closes it quickly. "But we can also find them at the high school." Yn suggests. "If we go now..."

"It's like 10 pm, isn't the school closed?"

"Not if we can find a way in." Yn says smiling as she gets up. Hope narrows her eyes at her roommate not thinking that it's a good idea. "Come on. It's gonna be fun."

"What if we get caught?" The auburn asks crossing her arms over her chest.

"Then you can bibidi babidi get us out of there." She says gesticulating with her hands. Hope looks at her like she's crazy, still thinking it's not a good idea. "You're thinking too much about the consequences." Yn says kneeling beside her bed to look up at Hope, her head resting on her hands. "This is our chance." The brunette says with a sigh before the Mikaelson rolls her eyes.

"Ok, fine. Let's do it." The Martin smiles at the other girl's words and they both stand up, ready to go to Mystic Falls high.

"Why do I feel like you've done this before?" Hope asks turning to face Yn in the driver's seat.

"Maybe because I did?" Yn responds with a smirk as she parks the car down the street. "Why are we stopping here?" The auburn asks intrigued. Yn scoffs at the girl's worry being clear she hasn't watch any action movies... or just broke into a high school before. "Because they have surveillance cameras in the parking lot, which doesn't make any sense because there aren't any in the school. But getting over that, we have three ways of entering: one, we use the ventilation system, two, we go in from the roof or three, we break down the door which... isn't an option. So one or two?" Hope looks at the girl weirdly before exclaiming.

"You've definitely done this before." She states. "Option two seems more normal, but how do we get in from there?"

"Leave that to me. Let's go."

After entering the high school and going into the library to search for the one book that might help them, Yn and Hope sat at a table, reading. "This won't work. There's nothing her about the Dread Doctors!" Hope exclaims frustrated that she can't find anything. "It was a good try, but it won't work like this."
