Chapter #12

Thursday

Y/n's POV
I walk into the high school zoned out, thinking about what happened yesterday.

~Flashback~

Me and Malia just finished our training, no one was at the school except for us. As we head to my car we see another vehicle parked right in front of the school. It's weird cuz everyone left the school hours before us. As we get closer to my car I stop sniffing.

"Do you smell that?" I ask Malia. She sniffs a few times then turns to me.

"Blood." She says.

"And death..."  We start looking around and the school's right side catches our attention. That's where the smell comes from.

We rush there seeing two big dumpsters. I take a closer look seeing a leg coming out from the second dumpster.

"Oh my god..." I say and Malia opens the lid revealing two bodies, a boy and a girl, from MFH's team.

"What happened to them?" Malia asks looking at the bodies whose eyes were gone. They looked like they were popped out and they had like very weird cracks around their eyes and mouth.

"My guess is that the Anuk-Ite did this, trying to find its other half..." I say and she looks at me.

"You think the Anuk-Ite followed us here, in attempt to find its other half? Here.... in Mystic Falls.... a random town and not Beacon Hills.... where it appeared.... Really?" She says, surprisingly making sense.

"Yeah! That's what I said! And if it's not that, then we have a killer on the lose, murdering teenagers in a very barbaric and weird way... so pray it's the Anuk-Ite!"

Ten minutes later Lydia, Scott and Stiles arrived at the crime scene. We explained how we found them and my theorie.

"So you think the Anuk-Ite is here?" Stiles asked.

"Yes, and I might have an idea of who it could be..." They all turn to me with wide eyes.

"Don't look at me like that! I don't know for sure!" I defend myself from their looks.

"Tell us!" Lydia says impatiently.

"I think it's Aaron..."

"Aaron?" Scott asks.

"Yes, he was acting weird when we were in Beacon Hills. Liam and Mason found him at school the same night they found the faceless body and yesterday when he touched me I sensed fear and impatience."

"Are you sure?" Malia asks.

"It could be a possibility." I tell them.

~End of flashback~

"Hey girl!" I hear a voice behind me bringing me back to reality. Lexi and Andreea walk beside me.

"You good?" Andreea asks seeing the tired look on my face.

"Yeah, just didn't get much sleep last night..." I respond.

"Oh god!" Lexi says stopping and looking at the girl who enters the school.

"Who's that?" I ask not knowing the blonde girl.

"Jessica Wilmore... the bloody devil..." Lexi says.

"Jake's twin and Lexi's ex, they were BFF's then started dating... didn't go well as you can see." Andreea explains. I hum in response as Jessica approaches.
