Y/n's POV
We come out of the closet making sure everything was left the same when we went in.

"Looks like someone had fun!" Jessica says smirking and I look at Stiles who looks like he got out of a hurricane. I sit down next to MG fidgeting. "Who's next?" Jessica asks.

They play more rounds and in the middle of the game Jessica walks away. 20 minutes after that I get up going upstairs to the bathroom. When I get out of the restroom I hear someone crying. I see a door ajar from where the crying is coming and I knock on it.

"Yes?" I hear Jessica say in between sobs.

"Hey." I say softly. "Are you ok?"

She wipes her tears. "Not really..." I go to her and sit on the bed. She immediately crawls into my arms sniffing.

"Wanna talk about it?" I ask.

"Today... um, ten years ago, on this date my, my mother died..." she says.

"I'm sorry..." I tell her not knowing what to say.

"The monsters that killed her should be sorry!"

"What? Wh-What are you talking about Jess?"

"The monsters with glowing eyes and fangs. They killed her!" She starts crying again and I freeze. Glowing eyes and fangs? Oh, crap!

We stay like that for a few minutes. Me holding Jessica and her sobbing in my arms. Suddenly she raises her head looking in my eyes before glancing quickly at my lips. She leans up capturing my lips with her rosy ones, my breath catches on my throat as I pull away shocked by the girl's action.

"Jess..." I'm cut off by her lips crashing against mine. She disconnects our lips and looks at me with puffy eyes.

"Distract me..." she whispers kissing me again. I pull away sitting up.

"Jess, you're drunk and upset! You're not thinking straight!" I say and she stands up grabbing my hands.

"Please..." she begs and I shake my head. She leans in but I stop her.

"This would be taking advantage of you, Jess. Please, just go to bed! Tomorrow you'll fell better..." I say laying her down in the bed. She instantly falls asleep and I walk out turning the light off and closing the door behind me.

I walk back downstairs and go to the others. They were now playing truth or dare and Jake was clearly drunk. I lock eyes with Hope but she quickly looks away.

"Mmm... Hope, it's your turn! Truth or dare?" Jake says.

"Um, truth?" Hope says unsure.

He smirks taking a sip from his cup. "What is the worst  memory from your past, hm?" He asks.

"Jake, don't!" Josie says.

"No no, I wanna hear it!" He pushes. I look at Hope confused, she doesn't say anything.

"Jake, really! Not the time!" Lizzie says standing up to stop him, but he pushes her aside and goes closer to Hope.

"Was it when your parents died? When you were left an orphan? When your father died?!" At this point he's shouting and I see Hope's eyes filling with tears.

"Jake, calm down!" I tell him.

"Say something, freak!" He shouts and Hope runs out holding her tears.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" I yell at Jake.

"You should ask that weirdo!" He yells in my face. My nose twitches in anger, eyes burning looking at him as my fists clench while I try not to rip his throat out. I contain myself instead slapping him with my minimum strength to not break his jaw then I go after Hope.

I find her on the terrace, sobbing and I sit beside her feeling bad about what Jake said. No one should be reminded by their dead relatives, especially if it's their parents.

"Are you ok?" I ask quietly. She doesn't answer. "I'm sorry..."

"Don't be, it's not your fault." She says sobbing.

"Yes, it is my fault for bringing you to this party... I shouldn't have, he's an asshole!" I say and she slightly laughs.

"He really is!" She says with a small smile.

"That's true!" I say with a laugh then a few tears roll down my cheeks.

"Why are you crying?" She asks looking at me.

"It just happens sometimes. I highly recommend it." I say turning to her with a smile.

We stay a moment in silence until Hope starts talking.

"My, um... my mother died when I was 15, she, she died... and it was my fault." She says and breaks down crying. I hug her allowing the auburn to cry in my arms. We stay like this for another moment until she says.

"And my, my dad died to protect me... it was not too long after my mother died..." I hug her tightly.

"That's awful." I say and a few tears escape my eyes when I think back at Allison.

"My girlfriend, the one I told you about earlier, she um... she died in front of me and I..." I take a shaky breath. "...I couldn't save her. I couldn't do anything, I just... I just froze." I say, quietly crying. I can feel her gaze on me, she reaches her hand to my cheek wiping a tear.

"I'm sorry..." she says and I slightly laugh breaking the hug and putting my elbows on my knees, wiping my tears.

"What was she like?" Hope asks and I think for a moment.

"She was the best! She was caring, funny, loyal, she was headstrong, if she wanted to do something she would've done it even if it was the end of the world. She always made me feel better when I was sad, I guess I thought she was the one, that one special love that happens once in your life..." I say with eyes full of tears.

"But?" Hope asks knowing that I want to say something else.

"But, it didn't quite work. We started fighting about our future, I guess... and I realized, then, that good things don't happen to you just once, they can happen again and again, until you finally find that one person that is really meant to be with you..."

"Like a soulmate?"

"Yes, like a soulmate." I say wiping my tears slightly smiling. "What about you? Did you have a... true love?"

"Yes, I did..." She says looking down. "And it was just like you said. I thought that he was the one... but it didn't work out as we wanted..."

"A guy, huh?" I ask.

"Yeah, I had a crush on him since I was 15. We had our ups and downs, but in the end it wasn't meant to be..." She says sniffing.

We stay a few minutes in silence listening to the crickets, owls and the warm breeze that makes the trees rustle.

"I saw you kissing Jessica." Hope breaks the silence making me frown. I turn to her.

"I didn't kiss her, she kissed me. She was drunk and upset... How did you... how did you see that?"

"Well, you didn't come back from upstairs and... I-I guess I was worried..." She says with a shrug.

"Well, thank you for checking if I was still alive!" I say laughing. She pushes me playfully, laughing.

"Shut up!"

"No, but for real, thank you!" I say smiling at her. She smiles back then looks up ahead at the night sky.

"Wanna go home? It's getting late." I say checking the time, seeing it's already 11:30 pm.

"Yeah, let's go." She says. I stand up offering her my hand which she takes standing up.
