Chapter #25

No one's POV
"So what did you want to tell me?" Yn asks CJ as the two prepare to leave the classroom.

"Oh, yeah. I almost forgot." The boy takes a folded paper out from his backpack handing it to the girl. "You drew this yesterday and forgot it. I thought you wanted it back." He finishes with a smile.

"Thanks." The girl says somehow hesitatingly but returns the smile taking the paper.

"Well, I gotta go, but see you after?"

"Yeah, sure." CJ walks away into the crowded hallway, the opposite direction the girl needs to head to. She waits until the red-haired boy is out of view to open the folded paper.

Her eyes widen, her throat dry and her mouth slightly open. The situation just got too real too fast. This was confirmation that the Dread Doctors are back and she had her mind wiped to not remember seeing them.

No...

That's when realization hit her, she wasn't alone in the room when the Doctors wiped her memory, there was Josie too saying that it was her fault. Yn started running towards her locker where she bumped into her sister.

"Hey." Yn says a little out of air.

"We need to talk." Yn's heart sunk at her sister's expression, Lydia knew something but was it the same thing Yn knew?

"Yeah, we do. Um, can we all meet up after classes in the library?"

"Pack meeting? Yeah, sure. What do you want to talk about?"

"Something..." Yn gives her sister a vague answer as she switches the books from her locker with the ones in her backpack.

"About the return of the Dread Doctors? Because that seems hella important!" Lydia says agitated. Yn stops her movement slowly turning to look at her sister in disbelief.

"You know about them too?"

"Well, it's kinda hard to miss when you have a vision of them hurting your baby sister!" Lydia whisper yells, sarcasm somewhere in her voice. Yn sighs closing her eyes as she pinches the bridge of her nose.  "So it's true..." Lydia continues having the confirmation from her sister's reaction. "Why didn't you tell me?!" She asks slapping Yn's arm.

"Well, because I wanted to be a surprise." Her voice full of sarcasm as she smiles throwing her hands in the air happily. She returns to her previous position with a straight face. "Obviously I didn't know!"

"What do you mean? They literally attacked you and you just so happen to forget?"

"It's not like I had a choice. They wiped my mind, I just found out myself." The brunette says handing Lydia the drawing with the Dread Doctor she got from CJ earlier. "Apparently I drew this yesterday, but lost it. And also my English notebook is full of doodles that I drew but also don't recall, telling me they're back. So, can you call a meeting after class in the library? Because right now I really gotta go." Yn says closing her locker and putting her backpack on her left shoulder.

"Yeah. Go now." Lydia nods watching the girl run through the, now smaller crowd of students. She glances at the drawing again before putting it into her backpack and heading to her locker then to her next class which happens to be with her still-not-boyfriend (because he haven't "proposed") Stiles.

"Hey beautiful." Lydia is startled by Stiles' voice. She has just entered the gym and had a small thinking session, she didn't even realise the class started five minutes ago. "Oh, hey..." Lydia responds as Stiles' expression instantly changes.

"Something wrong?" He asks as Lydia's eyes are staring into oblivion, again. She sighs blinking away her thoughts to focus on the present.

"The Dread Doctors are back. And I'm pretty sure they were at the Salvatore school doing god knows what, but I think it's related to that day when I told you someone 'accessed the dead'." She rants as all the moments seem to somehow connect. She shifts her gaze towards Stiles who now has a guilty face. "Stiles?" Sh tries to to catch his eyes but he's avoiding meeting hers. She sighs pinching the bridge of her nose. "What did you do?"
