Adelaide found Fury checking every monitor on the ship. He seemed to be looking for something, but nothing in particular.

"So, Nick, about my protection. I thought this might be a good time to get it in writing." Adelaide leaned against one of the metal railings holding up the monitor.

She felt around under the screen for anything that stuck out. Mostly nuts and bolts. That is until she felt a small circle with six prongs that had been pressed into the metal.

"I don't think HYDRA should be your main concern right now." He told her. "And we'll talk about that when we survive this." He said.

"If." He glared at her correction. "If we survive this." Adelaide said before pushing herself off the monitor.

She turned to walk away. Stark didn't trust Fury, then there had to be a reason. And Adelaide intended to find it.

When Steve left the lab, he left with a dozen questions.

He saw Agent Herrmann walking alone down an empty hallway. "Agent Herrmann." He called to her.

She turned to look at the person calling her name and then resumed walking. "Captain Rogers."

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"Stretching my legs." She looked at him with a small smirk once he caught up to her.

"And where are you going?"

"What? You don't trust me?" Adelaide asked rhetorically.

"I don't trust anyone who can switch sides so easily."

Adelaide stopped walking and froze. "Switch sides?" She repeated. "The only thing easy was choosing to escape HYDRA. So sorry my powers weren't given to me for good, Captain."

They reached the end of the hallways and found a locked door that read storage.

Adelaide started to push on it and Steve reached to help her. "I've got it." She insisted and the door suddenly creaked open.

They walked in and found hundreds of boxes. Steve jumped up onto a catwalk. He looked back, waiting for Adelaide and found her walking up a set of stairs.

"Just a tad bit dramatic." She whispered.

Adelaide walked past Steve and opened one of the boxes. Inside she found a HYDRA helmet and gun. Under the weapons was a flag with the HYDRA symbol embroidered on it.

"What is it?" Steve asked and looked into the crate.

"Nothing good." She reached for the flag.

"These weapons were meant to use the Cube as a power source." Steve reached for the gun.
