"She still giving out her autograph?"
Arms crossed over his chest, Alex briefly glanced at his friend. "Yup."
"How long has it been since we finished performing?"
"Almost two hours ago."
"And she's been with her fans ever since then?"
"Pretty much."
"Wow... Do you think she's getting tired?"
Alex shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know. However, I do know for a fact she won't rest until all her fans get a signature or hug from her. It's like she says, 'without them, we wouldn't be where we are.'"
"I guess that's true." Chris hummed, gazing at the way Selena hugged a little girl who giggled as a couple of securities stood beside her, halting the crowd of fans from pushing through the gate to get her. "What about you? What are you doing here?"
"Well... I'm making sure nothing bad happens to her." Alex answered, keeping his gaze on Selena.
Chris gave his black-haired friend a funny look. "She has a couple of securities with her. I think that's enough to keep her safe."
"I know, but... I just don't want anything to happen to her." Alex simply replied.
Chris arched an eyebrow, eyeing his best friend for a brief moment before shaking his head. He would rather not start assuming things. Still, there was a question that lingerie in his head, but he wished to not tell. For now.
"I'm surprised Abraham isn't here," Chris remarked.
"He is."
"Where?"
Alex pointed at Abraham who was with Marcella behind Selena as she continued greeting her fans. He was unaware of their position, surprisingly.
Shaking his head, he turned his attention toward the other guitarist of the group. "You know you're supposed to be helping us load the equipment on the bus, right?"
"Heck no. It's the rest of y'all turn." Alex retorted, earning a questioning look from his friend.
"What the fuck? You're also supposed to be helping, dummy."
Alex shook his head. "No, not this time. Remember I loaded all the equipment last time after you and the guys went out to get a couple of beers and never came back. I did it all by myself."
"...oh."
"Exactly."
Chris let out a long sigh, rolling his eyes as Alex smiled in victory. He had forgotten about that day - when he and the rest of the guys went out to buy a couple of beers. Instead of coming back to help Alex, they took their time in making their way back, drinking along the way.
"Alright, fair point. You can stay here and gaze at your wife."
Alex narrowed his eyes at his friend, hoping his face isn't flush from the sudden accusation. "We aren't married!"
Chris laughed at his state.
"What's going on here?" A.B inquired, standing next to them.
"Nothing much."
"None."
The bass player gazed at his parents and younger sister. "She's not done?"
Alex shook his head. "No."
"Ah, that figures."
"How come you aren't surprised?" Chris asked, quirking an eyebrow.
A.B let out a chortle. "This is normal. Before you two came, Selena took way longer than this. There was this one time when she took, I think, about 7 hours. She wanted to spend as much time as possible with her fans."
