Alexander wasn't the type to feel fear of anything or anybody. When he was alive in his era, he has survived fractured bones, a knife wound, and street fights. When death was upon him he wasn't the type to look away and instead stare at it, while his life flashed in his eyes.

But now he was afraid of what he got himself into. He was going to become a guitarist for Selena Y Los Dinos.

After he agreed to join, A.B sighed in relief and laughed as he hugged Alex. This was weird for him, he was getting a hug from one of the most brilliant song writers he has known.

Especially from someone who created the Kumbia Kings and the Kumbia All Starz. Alex always listened to their music whenever he was alive, and he always enjoyed it.

A.B Quintanilla was another person he had huge respect for and sympathy as well. The man lost his sister to a pathetic human being that took her away from everybody.

Although, he has never had any family members, and would never experience the emotional pain in someone losing a blood relative. He did lose his parents at the age of 2, but he didn't feel any emotional pain since he didn't remember them well.

The rest of the time he spent it talking with A.B alongside Chris. Alex has gotten to know A.B a decent amount, and he was a nice person. He shared a few things about his personal life and A.B did the same.

He informed him of when he started music, which was at a young age with his two sisters, Selena and Suzette. Alex already knew all this information but still listened to him, and it's better when you hear it from one of the brothers from Selena who has life experience with her.

Alex, despite feeling nervous that he was joining the band, still had a great time with A.B. The night went pretty well, but A.B had to call it a day.

He thanked Alex and Chris again before informing them that in a week he was coming to pick them up, and take them to Corpus Christi where his father would want to see them play.

Alex was now even more nervous since he had to audition in front of Abraham. The father of Selena and the manager of the band.

Fate did hate him.

He already knew what Abraham was like as a person. The man was a very strict type of person that only thought about success. This was going to be a challenge for Alex and Chris.

Thankfully, Chris was there to encourage him and also telling him to not be scared, which Alex would deny he wasn't but deep down he was a  nervous wreck.

After they got to their motel room. Chris immediately collapsed on the bed and fell asleep. Alex always wondered how he always slept so fast without struggling to keep his eyes shut.

Alex on the other hand couldn't get any sleep, and he spent it staring at the ceiling.

"I'm joining Selena Y Los Dinos," He thought as he stares at the ceiling. "I can't believe I'm going to become a guitarist for the band."

Alex sighed as he shifted his body from the ceiling towards the window across him. This was going to be a long week and by the time he will know it, he and Chris will already be in Corpus Christi.

Although he's not sure why he accepted in joining the band, on the bright side he will get to meet Pete, Joe, Suzette, and most importantly Selena. That at least manage to calm him down, as he began to close his eyes.
