"Say it."

"Why do you want me to say it so bad?"

"I just want you to admit it."

"Never."

"Alex... Say. It. Now."

Alex rapidly shook his head, forbidding himself from admitting a statement that was not only going to betray him but the one food he always loves.

"I will not admit it."

Selena narrowed her eyes at him. "Alexander Mercer."

Alex quirked an eyebrow at hearing his full name, being said by none other than her, with a hint of scolding in her tone. When hearing others say his full name, he was never fazed, but with the Queen Of Tejano, that was another case.

Feeling unperturbed, Alex still shook his head. "No. Pizza is not better than chicken wings."

Selena gasped before responding. "Yes, they are. How could you not admit that double pepperoni pizza is better than wings?"

Alex furrowed his brows. "Selena, that's false, and you know it. Should I remind someone who ate an entire bucket of wings plus stealing a couple of mines?" Crossing his arms over his chest, Alex smirked.

Selena, feeling her cheeks warm up in sheepishness from the memory, didn't help that Alex was making her feel like she was forgetting that memory, pretending like she was old.

"You think I'm senile?" Selena huffed, looking away as she crossed her arms below her chest. "Of course, I remember that time, A.B called me fat."

Alex smiled. "You're not fat... Your body is perfect the way it is." letting out a chortle afterward, his eyes widened at his sudden statement.

Selena rapidly turned to look at Alex with her face as red as a tomato. Feeling a jolt of electricity on her spine, not to mention her heart was beating behind her ribcage, she felt nervous if Alex could hear it.

Alex, realizing what he said, decided to quickly return to their previous argument, also ignoring his red face.

"Anyways, I still think wings are better than a pizza. Period." he coughed.

Selena shook her head, hoping the red from her cheeks would vanish already. "No, and no. Pizza is way better; I don't care what else you say." she covered her ears, halting any more comebacks from Alex to enter her ears.

Alex sighed and rolled his eyes. "Sel, we can have this argument all day if you don't accept the fact th-"

"No, you are the one that doesn't want to accept the fact that a medium-sized pepperoni pizza is better," Selena interjected.

"False."

"True."

"False!"

"True!"

Alex scratched the back of his head, amused by this whole argument they were having. At the same time, he was in a state of befuddlement on how a normal conversation ended up transitioning to this.

Earlier today from this whole argument, Alex and Selena decided to hang out in the darkened bunk area of the tour bus. It has been a couple of days since they gave their last performances before winter arrived; indicating the arrival of 1991.

They return to Corpus Christi - parked right outside the residence of the Quintanilla's. Not having anything to do, the duo took their time talking about other things, before their conversation lead to an argument.

"You two argue like a married couple." A.B's voice filled the bunk area as he entered. "What's the issue this time?"

Before Alex could speak, Selena was quick enough to speak, hoping to get her older brother on her side.
