"When you meet someone special, you'll know. Your heart will beat more rapidly and you'll smile for no reason."

About a week has passed since the Acapulco Trip and everyone was just settling in back in their hometowns.

Alex and Chris returned to San Antonio, which wasn't a surprise since Chris's family was there.

Selena, Suzette, and A.B returned to their house in Corpus Christi where the airplane landed.

Pete and Joe returned to Laredo, their hometown where their families resided. They have all been away from their families for a while.

Alex felt weirded out being back in Texas, he was going to get used to being in cities with a large population of people and cars.

Back in Acapulco, the only thing that was the most noticeable was the palm trees, how big the ocean was, and the hot weather that made anyone shower in sweat.

For the next entire week, Alex and Chris spent half of it with Chris's family. They all shared their memories and time being in Acapulco.

The moment Alex stepped into his room, he collapsed on his bed. He was physically and mentally exhausted from a lot of things, especially on the plane.

He had this feeling that he couldn't describe what it was, and it frustrated him to no end. It was that type of feeling that he didn't know what it was, but it was affecting him emotionally.

There were times where he wanted to ask Chris or his family what he was feeling but instead opted to keep it to himself. He would figure it out, it was only a matter of time.

Instead, he wanted to spend some time with Chris's family and that's what they did. The next day after they returned, they went straight towards Chris's parents' home.

They were both greeted how they usually did, with a bunch of hugs and kisses on the cheek. Chris's stepfather was doing a grill out in the backyard, so everyone was just sitting outside enjoying the food and time together.

Chris mostly spent it bragging how he helped a nursing home, which got Alex to roll his eyes and smile. He also had to remind them that he also helped.

"What about you, Alex?" Carmen asked. "Have you done anything besides also helping with the nursing home?"

"Well, I mostly spent it hanging out with Chris and the rest of the band that went," Alex answered, as he took a sip from his water bottle.

"Alex didn't do much," Chris said. "He was always hanging out with the Quintanilla's, especially Selena."

"Oh my," Carmen smiled. "I see you're already trying to get with the lead singer."

Alex began to choke with the water, Chris and his stepfather began to laugh.

"Wait, what!?"

"Relax, Alex. It's ok if you don't want to tell us," Carmen teased.

"Ma'am, I'm being seriously honest," Alex defended himself. "That's not what was happening. We were just hanging out as friends, the same way how I was hanging out with Pete and Joe."

Carmen began to laugh. "I like it when you begin to freak out, your ears turn red. It's adorable."

Alex groaned, now he knew why Chris moved away from this house and decided to live on his own.

"And no. Chris moved away because he wanted to persuade his dream to create a rock band," Carmen said.

"I said that out loud right?" Alex asked.
