Victorias Pov:

Yeah..it's been a while..

Today is my college graduation and I'm so fucking nervous. I mean..my whole life I've been in school and now..real life starts, you know?

But it's not the only thing I'm scared about.

I'm..going to propose to Avery today.

I know some people might say it's too early or we're too young but I want to spend the rest of my life with her.

I've planned everything out. While she was out with her mom, I made our dorm look as romantic as I can. I put candles and rose patterns everywhere and made sure everything looks perfect. So when we come back from the graduation ceremony I can propose.

You're probably wondering why in the dorm? There are probably more romantic places.

But I disagree. Everything happened in this door. Us meeting, ur first kiss and so so muh more. So I want to do this here too.

"Soo..nervous?" Connor asks as we walk to the ceremony.

I sigh deeply. "Shitting my pants." I reply, making him laugh.

The only ones who know about this are Connor and my mom. I still wanted it to be a surprise so I didn't tell the others. I mean..they'll find out at our family dinner. Everyone is gonna be there. My family, Averys family, and Connor with his parents.

"It's gonna work out just fine. You two are meant for each other." Connor tells me with a smile while patting my back.

My eyes slowly widen. "Oh my god, what if she says no?!" I exclaim nervously.

On that he quickly grabs my shoulders and calms me down. "Dude, calm down. There's no way she'll say no."

I quickly nod at that and we continue walking to the ceremony. As soon as we're there Avery jogs to me.

"Where have you been? I've been looking for you!" She exclaims while hugging me tightly.

"I'm sorry." I mumble while tightly hugging her back.

"It's okay, you're here now." She reassures me as we pull away, which makes me smile.

"I think we need to get up to the others." Connor whispers to me and I nod.

"See you after." Avery says before giving me a soft kiss.

I smile widely. "Yeah."

"Ahh I'm so proud of you, honey!" My mom exclaims happily while pulling me into a hug.

The ceremony just ended and to be honest I'm glad it's over. I hate things like that, when the attention is on you.

"Okay, so let's go to your place, right?" Avery says to me but I shake my head.

"I have to get something from our dorm, can you come with me?" I ask softly and she nods a little confused.

My mom glances at me with a grin while Connor gives me thumbs up. I only start to get more nervous at that.

As we walk down the hallway to our dorm my hands get sweaty and my heart start to pound like crazy.

"Hey, are you okay?" I hear Avery ask as she gently takes my hand.

"Oh yeah, I-Im fine." I reply quickly when we stand in front of our dorm door.

"Can you wait outside for a second?" I ask shyly.

Avery frowns a little at that but then nods. So I quickly get inside without her noticing anything.

On my bed lays a suit I picked out for this. So I quickly take off my clothes and change into my suit. When I'm ready I take a deep breath and go down on one knee before calling Avery in.

When she sees me she gasps and her eyes widen. She looks at me so shocked, with her hand over her mouth.

"I know this might come a little surprising for you but..Avery, my love, will you make me the happiest person in the world and marry me?" I ask with a nervous smile.

Now I just need her to say yes..

I know this time skip might came surprising buuut this story needs to end someday, doesn't it?
