Chapter 3 Claimed

What's up demigods how's it been going. A new chapter awaits.

Lica's POV:
"Hades!" I yell
"Why are you here?" I ask
"This isn't how we are supposed to claim demigods but I kept sending signs and nobody understood. Basically what I'm saying is that you are a daughter of Hades." Hades says
Wha-What do you mean I'm your daughter.... I-I mean yea sure I knew I was demigod but i-I never thought I was the daughter of Hades." I said
Hades approached followed by Nico
"Its ok it's a lot to take in but your brother will help you settle in the Hades Cabin.
I noded and followed nico.
My head was filled with thought like why would he come to me to claim me usually the send a symbol or why am I just now finding out or why my thoughts were cut of by Nico saying "Hey I'm sorry I never told you before."
"Its ok I guess." I say as I put my bag on one of the bunks.
After I unpack I put my hands in the pockets of my jacket and felt something. I pull it out and see a ring with a scull on it. It looked like Nico's ring. "Nico."
"What?"
"Is this yours?" I ask holding the ring
Nico looks at his hands and nods.
"You must have left in there by mistake." I say and hand them the ring.
"Thanks."
"Hey no problem anything for meh bro." I say
"Never say that again." Nico says
"I won't plan on it." I say.
"So want to practice your powers." Nico ask
I nod "but first I want to she if I can shadow travel there." I say
"Ok so think of a place you want to go as you enter a shadow but you have to concentrate really hard." Nico says
I noded and concentrate on the training area and walk into a shadow.
I open my eyes and see that I'm a few yards off.
A few seconds later I see Nico next to me. "Hey not bad you for closer to were you wanted to go on your second try. I ended up going to China a few times." Nico says
"I ended up in a desert the first time and it wasn't really a try either." I say
"Well with practice it should make it better." Nico says
"Ok lets go." I say and run to the training center.
Time skip
"Ok I think I got it." I say
"Ok, hit the dummy and not me this time." Nico says giving a slight laugh.
I laugh a little too then stop and concentrate. I hold my hands out and and make a little black flame, but it wasn't what I was going for because I could already do it no I was going a little bit bigger." I concentrate even harder. Soon the ball in my hand gets bigger and bigger soon I start floating a little bit. I did what came natural I lifted my hands above my head and aimed at the dummy and threw it. The dummy exploded. I slowly lower and see Nico's mouth opened in shock.
"Ho-how'd you do that!" "I mean you floated and you're eyes glowed and everything." Nico explains.
I shrugged. " I don't know." I say.
"What I do know is that there are going to need to replace that dummy." I say
"Yep they sure do." Nico says
After that we headed back to the Hades cabin and took a break.
