im hoping you have golden hour by jvke in your playlist because i want you to play it at a certain part of the story.

Albedo and you were undergoing research at an old domain situated by Liyue outskirt that was rumored to be the death of a Goddess of Perpetual Fate, where laid her last testament before his death. Nobody dares enter the domain but it had been a hundred or thousand years then. Albedo was the one who aired up the idea and you had always assisted him in his dangerous mission for the sake of his random piqued interest.

The two of you go way back. When he was 'born', you too came to the world. Being partner-in-crime while also leading your own life, and it had been going on for three hundred years.

In this research, he shared with you his founding while he stayed in Mondstadt. Alice told him to stay there quietly, while she did not say the same to you. You had to go around the world to assist with Alice's work and you wished you were stationed at Mondstadt instead.

"Are you okay ?" You glanced over at the pale, golden-haired, handing you the water. You drink it as you took it from him.

"Yeah. It's eerie and draining, but I can live with it."

It was dark and you did not remember how many days has it been in the domain. It drained your energy and deep in your heart, you were wondering if this was a good idea. The two of you found an old architecture preserved by the Goddess' people and some accessories left by them.

"Albedo, I'm a princess !" You said playfully, placing the crown you found onto your head. He smiled slightly, watching you go through the pile of junk that could be sold for a high price.

Finally, you reached what seemed to be the place they had been searching for. The room was empty with only a single thing standing out in the middle of the room. No traps were starting as they walked closer, which means the thing that looked like a pearl was left to be used.

Of course, Albedo stopped you from touching it firsthand.

"It's a centuries-old testament. We don't know what will happen when we touch it. We need to figure out what the Goddess of Perpetual Fate would leave behind." Albedo said, and you nodded, staring hard at the pearl that gleamed in the middle of the room. It was tempting, as the Goddess made it so to attract her 'victims'.

You discussed any possibility. Your fate might be changed out of your will, or maybe it will grant you a wish to change your fate. Many people would want to change their fates and this would entice many people crazy for a change.

"I will take it. If anything, I'll suffer the loss." Albedo said, and you were rather uneasy with his decision.

"Can't we take it together ? This place might crumble and drown us together. I just don't want you to push me away." You chuckled nervously, but Albedo shook his head.

"Alice entrusted me to take care of you. I'm not gonna die, but if fate changes I would like to suffer it alone. I just think if things go south, you are smarter to think of the solution." You huffed at his words, cannot believe he thought of you highly.

"If anything happens, I'll pull you out of here." You told him.

You took a few minutes to compose yourself. You exchanged nods before Albedo approached it and slowly began to touch it.

He got a good grip on it, but nothing happened. You thought it was just a flashy orb that hold no use until the room or the whole domain started to shake violently.
