Zubayr entered the Akademiya silently, trying not to stand out as he was the Zubayr Theater owner. The sages of Akademiya had given her a lot of warnings for it to be disbanded, but he won't go down without a fight.
As he reached a corner, he saw you reading a huge book in your arms. You were so keen on it that you did not even sense him being close to you. He looked down at you with a worried look.
"(Y/n)." He called you, and you looked up to him. The look in your eyes snapped at his heart.
They were unusually bright, full of light. The sharp glance you gave him with undivided attention told him that it was not you.
"(Y/n), we need to talk." Zubayr said, but then you turned your focus back to the book.
"It's about Alhaitham."
"Who's that ?"
Once again, it took him by great surprise.
"I told you, Zubayr, stop liking me. I'm with (Husband name) now. Our child is also on the way." Zubayr shook his head, he could not believe what was happening.
Your mind was returning back to the past, to the eighteen years old you.
"(Y/n), Alhaitham... that's your son." Zubayr breathed out.
"I'm reading here. You know I like studying right ?" You told him, and he knew he had to act fast. Ignoring all the looks, he threw the book away from you and pulled you.
"Zubayr, what are you doing ?!" You resisted, but he continued to pull you.
"You need to follow me."
"Okay ! Don't make a scene." You grunted softly as you massaged your hurting wrist. He felt terrible for forcing you. He knew you were not stubborn. It was one of the reasons he fell in love with you.
You followed him silently, and finally, the both of you reached your home. Looking at the place, a flash of memory came before your eyes. There was something nagging at the back of your head about this place. Nevertheless, you followed Zubayr inside.
The place was all dusty, which was not to your liking. Zubayr entered and just stood in the middle of the living room, pointing to the surrounding.
"Look around." He told you, and you cast him a weird glance before you did so. Though you wanted to do it the first time you entered. There were so many things that gave you a sense of familiarity.
Then, you noticed a room that looked kind of lonely. You entered the room and meet a bed for two, and a simple decoration. The room hit you with a wave of sadness.
You opened the wardrobe, and your eyes fell onto the clothes; especially a man's clothes. You knew these clothes. It would usually wear by your husband. Instead of being comforted by it, you felt a stab to your wound. Tears began to pick up in your eyes.
The drawer next to your bed took your attention as if you knew what was inside. You went to sit on the bed and opened the drawer to meet a piece of baby clothing. In instant, you could feel the weight of the baby in your arms.
You took it from the drawer and looked down at the clothes that were stained with blood. Tears immediately fell from your cheeks as you held them close to your chest. The nightmare of that time returning back to you.
Alhaitham, when he was just a year and a half. His heart problem was getting worse and puked out blood. The run to the infirmary felt like forever. It was the moment you gave up everything so your baby would have a normal life.
