After the rebirth of the Dendro Archon, nothing was as great as the day of Greater Lord Rukkhadevata anymore. As centuries went by, the citizen of Sumeru slowly lost faith in the existence of the deity, and their belief and salvation leaned more into the Akademiya, the gathered high scholars of Sumeru, who grabbed ahold of the powerful technology of today's date, Akasha.

Just recently, people from the desert, mostly the Eremites, were rejoicing in the resurrection of their lord Scarlet King, King Deshret to the point of exploiting the citizens and torturing the innocent Village Keepers(mad scholars).

A group gathered to investigate the matter, Alhaitham was one of them. For someone who would go on operation alone, he stayed in a group that align with his interest. Amongst the people in the group, with which he was already acquaintances, there was one stranger that was always by the traveler's side.  That person was hidden under a quite classy-looking robe all the time, so no one had ever seen their face.

Cyno was hard on that person a week ago, forcing them to reveal themselves but the traveler and Paimon were protecting that person's identity. The only reason it stays that way was that everyone trusted the traveler. Plus, that person owned a Hydro vision and was a healer. They did a great job helping ease the Village Keepers' minds.

Alhaitham continued to watch the person from afar. While everyone was busy preparing for their next plan, they would visit the Village Scholars and try to converse with them. From the way they speak, he knew that person was a gentle one. He could imagine the smiles when they laughed, and they tend to the Village Keepers very carefully.

When they meditated the person, the process was very peculiar also reasonable for the vision they possessed. They brought them to an oasis close by while guarded by the Eremites, and they made them strip to their thin clothes and dipped their body into the water. Then, they would rest their head on the lap, only then he saw part of their figure.

They moved the cape to the back to avoid it getting wet, and their slender fingers moved along the hair and washed the head over and over again. It was as if they were trying to let out the venom that was poisoning their minds into madness. Alhaitham noticed there was a bracelet wrapped around her thin wrist.

The process took a couple of hours before they returned. It was about time for the group to have dinner.

After dinner, they returned to their room prepared by Candace, since according to the traveler, this person was a lady. As the sky dawned by the night for the nth time since they were a group, there was no reason for him to hide his curiosity about this person. He won't say out loud that instead of being wary of this unknown person, he was rather intrigued by the mysteriousness and the gentleness they portrayed throughout the time they were together. He never fancied anyone before, so this would be the first.

You stepped into the room that was illuminated only by a single candle. It was on the bedside table next to your bed, and usually, you would close the door immediately once you entered the room. However, you knew that you did not have to do it tonight, since you had a rather unexpected, yet anticipated, visitor. You felt like your breath was taken from you when his presence appeared on your doorstep.

Turning around slowly, you looked over your shoulder to the tall man you had been sensing eyes everywhere on you since the first day. His seemingly uninterested eyes contradicted the number of time he would stare at you, watching your every moves out of everyone's acknowledgment.

It was not awkward for you. Rather, this kind of attraction you received had always been a normal thing to you. Countless men had made their way at you one way or another. It was as if a curse befell on you to be the attraction of the wandering eyes of men and further put you into a situation you never wished to be in.
