His mother threw him away once he deemed useless.

The one he thought was a friend found him an abomination.

He wanders through the land of Inazuma, wondering why he was treated like this in this world. Why was he even created if he was being casted away.

In the end, he was alone. There was no mother in his eyes that can provide him love, nor a friend that genuinely will care for him.

Somehow, the eyes of this innocent child were something he had been searching for. A fledgling barely out of the nest, overlooking the strange world he would soon learn the cruelty it hidden.

"Mister, you can't stand in the stream like that, your socks are now all wet !"

He said, quite clever for a little boy. In fact, his whole body was covered in dirt, and the little boy looked at him in displeased.

"Mister, you're all dirty, where did you come from ? You should not let yourself get this dirty." The boy nagged at him, but Kunikuzushi just watched as he looked at him up and down.

Then, the boy grabbed his hand and began to pull him.

"Come on, let's go to my house !" He said, and Kunikuzushi just let the him pulled to somewhere.

Then, a sight of a rundown home appeared in his eyes, and it seemed it was the direction the boy was heading. There was a small crops outside and looks clean even though the house was barely held together.

The boy opened the front door, hand continued to pull Kunikuzushi.

"Mom, mom, I found this weird guy that is super dirty." As he looked up, his eyes landed on a lady who made him forgot how to breathe. A pair of bright eyes similar to the boy, looking surprised at the sight of him.

"Mom said we shouldn't stay dirty, right ? Help him get clean, mom !" The boy said excitedly, probably it was the sight of another person he never seen in the middle of nowhere.

"Uhh.. I think this mister can do it himself, Kousei."

"He didn't say anything since earlier and gawking at me like a child !" Kousei said, and you gazed back at Kunikuzushi worriedly.

His face was smeared with dirt, his hair was a mess and his outfit unkempt. You were hit with great surprise seeing his hair and eyes that strikingly similar to the Shogun, but you put that thought aside.

You sighed.

"You're the one to talk, look at your face with dirt yourself." You crouched down to Kousei and wiped the dirt from his cheek. Kousei giggled sheepishly.

"Can I bath with him ?!" He asked, and you glanced at Kunikuzushi before you smiled.

"Sure, but wait. I'll come with you."

"Yaaay ! Big brother, we can bath together !" Kousei said, and finally, Kunikuzushi smiled. The family looked lively, but he had yet to be fond of their smiles. From his experience, they would smile at first, before their face turning tight and cast him away.

Then, the three of you head to the stream where Kousei and you usually take a shower.

"This is where we usually clean ourselves. Mom, you're not bathing together with us ?" Kousei told Kunikuzushi and asked you weirdly as you came with full cloth on. Your face immediately turned red when Kousei asked in front of Kunikuzushi.
