"You gotta stop popping up on us in mind bendingly sexy outfits like that, sweetness." Shachi chuckled as he drove the three of you to the club. "We almost didn't make it out of the house."
Behind you, Penguin grumbled and tried very hard to distract himself. You'd gotten ready that night in your new outfit, and left your hair down, tucking it behind your ears to accent the large hoop earrings Ace had recommended. You went with a smokey eyed makeup look tonight and had found your favorite black clutch with the little gold chain. Once you'd come downstairs, Shachi had to stuff both his hands in his pockets to physically restrain himself from giving in to temptation and you swore you could hear Penguin's brain short circuiting as he just stared. He didn't stop staring at you all the way into the car.
"Like you two can talk. Skinny jeans and snug shirts? If we didn't already know each other, you would have made my head turn." You waved Shachi on.
Shachi looked like a walking shadow in his pure black outfit tonight, the only speck of color on him was the giant red heart with the smiley face stitched onto the back of his long open hoodie. Behind you, Penguin was dressed similarly, the two deciding to drive home the twin look tonight.
"Peng and I have been to a club or two. We're not total losers." He flashed you a sunlit smile and you caught the subtle blush in his cheeks.
"I wonder if I'll give Sanji a nose bleed tonight." You giggled. The man had already swooned once when he saw you at the wedding. He was extra as hell.
"He better not touch." Penguin said, his voice pitched low and threatening.
You reached back and patted his knee. "I won't let him, don't worry."
Ever since the three of you had become exclusive, both men had become quite possessive. You didn't mind; if anything you enjoyed it. They weren't toxic about it, they encouraged you to go hang out with Ace and Isha and liked seeing you have fun with your male friends. But they were quick to pop up next to you if anyone tried flirting or touching you. Penguin especially did not hesitate to stare down his nose at other men that stepped out of line, intimidating sharp emerald eyes shaded by the brim of his hat. It was times like that that you could see the last residual dregs of assassin energy they held and rather than it spooking you, you'd truly never felt so safe in a city riddled with crime.
Shachi parked the car and made triple sure to lock it before heading for the club. You were sure he would bawl his eyes out if anything happened to his precious Camaro. You could already hear the deep bass from inside the club and purple lights spilled out the door where the bouncer was standing. The line to get in was already huge.
"OI! You three! Over here!" A familiar green haired man waved at you from next to the bouncer. He rubbed the back of his neck as the three of you approached. "We have reservations so don't get lost in the line. Just give this guy ID's and you can go right in."
"Oh good. I was worried about that line." You said and handed the man with bulging muscles your ID. You gave him a cute little smile when he tilted his head at you and then he handed it back quickly.
"Go on in." He grumbled, ripping eyes away from your chest. He glanced at Penguin's ID and flicked it back with not nearly as much interest. "You too."
Shachi already had a bland expression on his face as he handed over his ID and preemptively his college ID. "If you need another one, I have a passport."
The bouncer laughed, the first sign of expression you'd seen on him. "If you weren't so prepared, I would have thought these were fake. You got a good sense of humor, kid. You can go on in."
The three of you followed Zoro in, or rather Shachi took the lead and Penguin gripped Zoro's collar and dragged him along regardless of his protests. You furrowed your brow in confusion.
