After the alarming message from the voice in your head you decided sleep would be the best thing to distract you from having any harmful thoughts, fortunately for you sleep came easy with all the medicine the Rainwing medics gave you. Most of the day was spent in a restless and dreamless sleep which honestly left you more tired than not sleeping at all, it was now late evening and the sun was beginning the hide itself under the thick rainforest canopy, still the humid air stayed as it was.

Bullfrog and Liana had been pretty boring, the only thing exciting about the 2 were either their colorful scales or Liana's cheeky attitude which occasionally made you chuckle.

You sat by the medium sized window in the healer's hut watching colored birds and dragons fly to their homes wishing you were the one back home. The sticky humid weather of the rainforest was definitely far from your favorite, you wondered how any dragon could live comfortably here without any snow or freezing cold winds.

'Well freezing cold is probably not ideal for other dragons,' you thought to yourself with slight humor.

A couple of moments ago Bullfrog had changed your bandages to fresh ones that felt much better against your healing burns, you had been closely watching his moves trying to learn how to dress your own wounds jsut incase it was ever necessary. In watching Bullfrog you also found were the Rainwings kept their medicine, it was in a cabinet that filled in the bottom of the front desk, there was a special section for pain relief and cooling herbs which was used for you.

Your thoughts jumped from one subject to another before it landed itself in your father. Who was he? What was he like? Where is he?? So many questions that you secretly didn't want an answer to. If you had truly wanted the answers you could have asked your magic mirror ages ago, but you supposed a part of you was afraid to find out the truth about this dragon.

You inhaled a deep breath before letting it out once again, you tried driving the thoughts away by thinking of something a bit more productive like what your friends were going to do once they found Scarlet, or maybe what you would eat for breakfast tomorrow, many thoughts that could be thought. Finally your mind settled on Hailstorm, what would Winter do once he found him, perhaps go home and be expected to be awarded like a hero for finding a missing prince, or maybe he expected his parents to finally treat him with just a tiny bit of respect for finding their beloved son, 'Highly unlikely,' you said in your mind knowing how Winters parents are.

'It must be nice having Moon's power,' you thought, 'it must be nice knowing what's going to happen next and how it could be avoided, but I guess it's also torturous knowing a dragons blood could be in your talons if you don't act quick enough.' That thought taking you back to the cave explosion, flashes of Carnelian's and Bigtail's lifeless body flashed in your mind which led to more scenes of dead dragons all over you from your time in the war. Quickly you shook the thoughts away deciding now wasn't the time for a panic attack, another sigh left your mouth as you noticed the sun had completely set leaving the inky black sky behind, the twinkling stars and shinning moons not close to the blazing light of the sun.

You wondered how you could have possibly spent so much time just thinking but you quickly stepped away from the window before you could find yourself lost in thought once again, your (s/c) talons scrapped across the wooden floor making a shhhhk shhhhhhk but you quickly stopped when you realized the new Rainwing whose name you didn't bother trying to learn stirred in his sleep, his pale green and pink scales being softly illuminated by the light of the torch. You walked over to your leaf nest and began to lay down, 'Escape you fool!' A voice hissed in your mind which caused you to jump due to the suddenness. 'Take the medicine and run,' the voice hissed again this time less aggressively.
