Chapter 35

"Hauwa please don't-"Yaseer paused as Hauwa placed her hand in front of his face.

"There's nothing you're going to do that will make me change my mind,"Hauwa spoke without looking at her husband. "I will be moving there till further notice! And that's final!" She emphasized that last word with all her might.

Yaseer sighed.

"I need explanations,"She flung the bead of tears that threatened to ruin her mrs hard lady energy. "Detailed explanations. You have half of today to do so if not, I would be going back to my parents' house." She held hangers with clothes in her hand as she exited their room and entered the guest room.

"Baby girl, please." Yaseer pleaded.

"Please what Yaseer?! What are you saying please for? Huh?!" Hauwa shot him a terrifying glare that sent shivers down his spine more than once.

The burning rage in her could be clearly seen through her eyes.

She clinched her teeth hard in her enclosed mouth.

"And you're forbidden from calling me that!" She pointed her index finger at her husband with so much anger in her voice.

Her heavy breathing making it really obvious that her blood was at a 100 degrees celsius.

"I have been reasonable enough," She trailed off. "I'll rephrase that. I have been foolish enough! Foolish enough to believe your grave lies! Foolish enough to think this marriage could be sorted out." She began putting her clothes in the wardrobe.

"Baby- Hauwa, just calm down." Yaseer gestured.

Hauwa raised a brow at Yaseer before spitting in his face "You've got only a few hours to explain yourself!" She returned to their bedroom.

Yaseer followed her.

Cold sweat rolling down his face and back.
"I promise I'll explain,"Yaseer tried holding onto Hauwa's arm but she didn't let it happen. "I promise I'll tell you everything." His eyes began clouding with tears.

He rarely shedded tears.

He preferred keeping his tears in on normal days, but this day was so damn different!

All the emotions he had been keeping in crashed on him all at once making it almost impossible for him not to shed a tear or even more.

Hauwa ignored him and continued getting her stuffs.

"Can you at least give me more than just half of today? I promise I'll make you understand everything, everything will become crystal clear." He shut his eyes and made the tear fall straight down his eyes.

He was crying.

Yaseer Gumell was crying.

"Half of today for your explanation or forget about me and the kids staying." She was already at the entrance of the other room.

Yaseer followed suit and stood at the threshold.
"I'm really not mentally stable to explain it soon, an additional day won't hurt." He said softly.

Hauwa's eyes twitched.

"And do I look like I'm mentally stable to listen to your explanations? No I am not! But I still want to know why you did what you did."

"I didn't do anything while-" Hauwa cut him off.

"Wow! You didn't do anything. Still not admitting it even though there's clear evidence right in front of you. Just wow!" She muttered as she picked up her last batch of clothes.

Yaseer massaged his temples.

What to do now.

Hauwa also carried her kids into the guest room.

"Eat up your house, I know I'll be leaving here anyways."she murmured as she slammed the door of the room close before turning the lock.
