The house was silent.
Even the kids didn't make a single noise.

Hours had passed and Yaseer still hadn't explained himself to Hauwa.

Was he really still going to hide from his mistakes?

Hauwa sighed heavily.

She was dieing inside to hear Yaseer's explanations.

She wanted to know why he did what he did.

She wanted to know why he hid it from her.

She wanted to know the other things he was hiding from her.

She needed answers.
Anyone would.

After what seemed like the millionth sigh, she looked at her already packed bag and sighed again.

She was really going to leave.

There was no looking back now.

You can't change your mind now! Stand by your words!

She mumbled to herself as she got up.

She walked to where her luggages stood firmly and put her hands on the handles.

She tightened her grip.

You're leaving, there's no turning back!

She shut her eyes and sighed heavily.

Few minutes were left before the time she gave Yaseer would end and she would leave the house.

"He's obviously not going to explain himself, how am I sure what he said about explaining things is not one of his lies." She began pulling the bags out of the room.

She was now in the hallway.

She walked down the hallway and came to a halt.

Her body faced the door with her hands still gripping tight to the bags behind her.

She was in front of their bedroom door.

She took in a deep breath.

She released her hands from the bag handles.

Her palm was already sweaty.

She was filled with less anger this time.

Nervousness filled the part where some of the anger used to occupy.

She was nervous to hear what Yaseer had to say.

She was also nervous to see if he would explain everything as he said or would just allow her leave like that.

She wiped her palms on her skirt.

Moving closer to the door she placed a light knock as she called "Yaseer!" in a rather soft tone.

No reply.

"YASEER!" She called again.

No response.

Did he really think it was the right time to play around?

"Yaseer?" The third call sounded more like a question.

The silence was making her frustrated.

Why was she even knocking to go into her own room?

Or rather, her soon to be ex-room.

She bursted in"Do you think it's the right-" she paused as she examined the empty room.

Just great! This is how he wants to play it right? Leave the house in secret to avoid the explanation he promised?
