~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~BRADEN'S POV~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I opened the door slowly. It was really her, Elizabeth. She stood outside my door in a pink hoodie and skinny jeans.
"Hi" I said.
"Sorry, I couldn't stay away." she smirked, walking into the hotel room.
 "H-How the hell did you know I was here?" I asked quietly.
She flicked on the lights and sat down on the edge of the bed.
"You handed me your maps, It wasn't that hard to figure out where you'd be going next." she said.
"Wait- was this the town I was planning on going to?" I asked surprized.
"Closest one to New York. Are you feeling alright?"
"No. No, I am so far from alright. In the last three days my girlfriend was abducted, I lost my job and I was ordered around a train station at gunpoint. So, I'm sorry if I seem a little on edge to you." I hissed.
"Jeez, I'm just trying to help you. Maybe if you'd let me help in the first place you wouldn't have gotten into trouble." she said.
"I don't need your help, Elizabeth. I'm fine." I growled.
She got up off the bed and walked closer to me until there were only inched between our faces.
"Braden," She whispered calmly. "I think you need a drink."
At that, my eyebrows furrowed. I grabbed her shoulders and pushed her away, shaking my head and hopping into the bed.
"What I need is sleep. Maybe tomorrow I'll actually get something acomplished before I run out of money and become a hitch hiker on some crazy... What was I even saying?" I stared across at her blankly, "Oh yeah, sleep." I huffed.
"So... your low on money?" she asked coming closer to the bed, a slight grin sliding cross her cheek.
"I- well I'm on my last paycheck with no hope of finding another job." I grunted.
She walked over to the door where she had dropped her purse. I rolled over in bed and pulled the covers up over my head, thinking she was on her way out.
Suddenly a small object hit me on the back. I turned around and picked up a wad of cash. I stared at it, then back at Elizabeth.
"They're hundreds," She smirked. "Now how about that drink?"
