The Fall- Robby Keene

valley fest

After work I had headed back to Robby's so that I could grab my clothes, Sam had texted for me to come over since well she said it was 'so I didn't have to go home' but I know what she intended by that. I drove straight to the LaRusso's and parked my car; I could hear the engine kind of make this odd noise, but I ignored it and turned off my car before heading inside. I walked in and saw Sam talking to Robby at the counter, I looked at them confused as Robby stopped talking and looked at me. Sam turned her head and jumped up out of her seat smiling.

Sam- oh nice to see you here! 

Julia- you texted me to *cuts off*

Sam- no I didn't, uh Robby and I were just having a small chat about how it nice having someone here for us and things like that!

Julia- that's cool, I think?

Sam- but since you are here, you should stay the night! I think it would be fun and Robby is staying in our guest house so

I looked at her weird as she wiggled her eyebrows making me roll my eyes and slightly push her away as she laughed, Robby let out an awkward cough as he stood up.

Robby- I'm going to head there now, actually- uh you guys have fun

I gave Robby a nod as he walked out of the house, I looked at Sam confused as she kept smiling at me.

Julia- what's going on? what are you doing?

Sam- just trying to help you two patch up your little issues is all!

Julia- Sam, as much as i appreciate this. trying to meddle in other people's relationships won't help things.

Sam just shrugged her shoulders as we went and sat down on her couch, we ended up watching about a movie and a half before my phone buzzed. I pulled it out of my pocket and saw a text from Robby saying 'come down here. I wanna talk.' I looked at Sam who was already reading over my shoulder, she gave me the directions to her guest house before I got up and walked there. I knocked on the door and Robby opened it, allowing me inside. I walked in and put my hands in my pocket as he closed the door and looked at me, the awkwardness was clear as it filled the room.

Robby- uh I'm sorry for not telling you about what was happening, and for getting pissy with you at work

Julia- it's fine, you were frustrated and put on the spot. I would have probably reacted the same, which is why I'm sorry for getting annoyed and just walking out.

Robby- all is forgiven, but you get annoyed with me a lot

Julia- because you do things to annoy me but that's not a bad thing in my opinion

he chuckled as he walked over to 'his' bed and laid down, I followed and laid next to him. we stayed in 'his' bed for a few more hours and I ended up falling asleep. the next day, I was hanging out with Robby in the guest house when Daniel came in. he looked shocked to see me but ignored that thought and just explained that we needed to go to valley fest. we got ourselves ready before heading over with Daniel, all that happened there was that we talked about our practice and things when my brother's karate team intruded and pretty much ruined the whole thing. I was livid watching this, Miguel saw me standing there and he looked just as mad as me, maybe even more. i waited till they ended their little thing before I stormed over to Miguel meaning I had to push away his little friends just to get to him. I grabbed his wrist and pulled him away as he looked at me.

Julia- what the hell was that?! what are you doing?!

Miguel- Senesi Kreese and Senesi Lawarence said it was a good way to show off our dojo. you can't be mad at me when you are training under Mr. LaRusso!

Julia- why does that matter Miguel?! at least he isn't training us like we are in a war! he is actually teaching us balance and things we might need to use to defend ourselves because that's what this is for, to defend ourselves not to use to harm others!

Miguel- Senesi Lawarence knows what he is doing! he's training us to not take shit!

Julia- are you hearing yourself?! Mami was right when it came to karate, it doesn't do no good for you! you changed, Miguel! not for the better! you hurt Robby for no reason during the tournament and it's all because of that dojo! 

Miguel- so this is what this is about?! your little boyfriend!? I was doing what I had to do to win!

Julia- it was just a tournament Miguel! he was going to help you up, and you decided to be an imbécil (asshole, jerk, etc.)! you know what, I'm done arguing with you. talk to me when you knock some sense back into your own head.

with that, I walked away from him and headed back over to where Robby and the LaRusso's were standing.
