Waking up in the morning was a nightmare. Instead of waking up on my own or from my alarm, I was awoken by my mother practically screaming in the living room. I sighed and grabbed my phone off the charging checking through messages. I replied to Robby's but that was about it before I got up and walked to the living room. I regretted it the second my mother looked at me holding this paper in her hand.

Carmen- mind explaining why you have missed almost two months' worth of school!?

Julia- a lot was happening in those two months; Miguel was in the hospital and his friend was being a total jerk and plus Robby was in jail, so I honestly didn't have the motivation to go

Carmen- Miggy was only in the hospital for 3 weeks, you could have gone to school the days after that! ever since you met that boy, all everything has ever been about is him! your grades slipped when you two started hanging out, you stayed out late, and now look you grew this attitude that I don't even know where it came from!

Julia- none of that has anything to do with Robby! most of that has to do with the fact that all you ever paid attention to was Miguel! ever since we came here, it's been about him! the one time I find someone who makes me general happy, yeah, I'm going to make my top priority him because he actually cares! he doesn't throw me on the back burner for somebody else!

it all happened in a spilt of a second, the burning sensation lingered on my left cheek. it took my brain a second to comprehend what just happened before I realized it. she had just hit me. I touched my cheek as I looked at her, Yaya was yelling at her in Spanish while she was yelling back. 

Yaya-mija! ¡¿Qué crees que estás haciendo?! (What do you think you're doing?!)

Carmen- *ignoring yaya* I don't know what happened to you! you used to love taking care of Miggy, you used to always go to school and get good grades, you never used to put up this 'rebel' attitude! you aren't the Julia, I raised! that boy changed you, Mija!

Yaya- Carmen Rosita Diaz! lo suficientemente! (enough!)

My mom looked at Yaya and just started screaming at each other, I kept my hand on my cheek as I walked around them to the front door. I slipped on my shoes before walking out of the apartment. The second I started walking down the pavement, Robby pulled up with my car. I stopped walking as he turned it off before getting out. He rushed over to me and once those words 'are you okay? what happened' left his mouth, I broke down. I started to cry into his chest as he wrapped his arms around me. He didn't urge me to talk and just let me cry. After a few moments, I calmed myself down enough to where I was reduced to only sniffles and some tears. I pulled away and wiped my tears as I looked up to Robby.

Robby- you wanna tell me now, what happened in there?]

Julia- *sighs* my mom and I got into a heated argument about school and you, of course. I ended up telling you that you were my top priority and you made me yours which led to her slapping me across the face.

Robby- your stuff is still in your car; we can just go somewhere for a few hours. let your mom cool off a bit, we could honestly just go to Moon's. she isn't there at the moment since Yazmine called her for a 'hair emergency' which I didn't understand.

Julia- *chuckles* yeah, that sounds like them. let's just go, anywhere is better than here at this point.

he nodded before we walked to my car, he got back in the driver seat as I got in the passenger before he started to drive. We got to Moon's, and I saw her car in the driveway, I gave Robby a confused look as he just shrugged his shoulders. We got out of the car and walked inside her house. I saw her on the phone walking down her stairs, she looked at me with a smile before she hung up.

Moon- hey! wow, what happened to your cheek?!

Julia- uh a mom mishap, but I thought you weren't going to be here?

Moon- oh! Yazmine just needed more bleach, so I just ran it to her really quick. I'll get you some ice

I watched her walk to her kitchen as Robby started walking to the couch, he sat down, and I took a seat next to him. I looked over to him and saw he was messing with the bracelet again, he always seemed to do that. I shrugged it off right as Moon came in and handed me the ice before sitting in her chair. Moon was sitting there on her phone while Robby was on his. I started getting bored of just sitting here so I got up from her couch and walked over to her sleeve that was full of movies. I skimmed through them before my eyes landed on this certain one, Dirty Dancing. I bite back a laugh as I pulled it off the self before I walked over to her TV set up. I placed the disc in before I walked over to my seat. Moon was already looking up the screen as the movie started to play. It wasn't till the movie officially started that Robby looked up realizing what was playing. he looked right at me as I started laughing.

Robby- *huge grin on his face* seriously

Julia- mhm, you said you liked it!

he shook his head as he looked back at the screen, throughout the movie you could clearly tell he was biting back the urge to sight every word that was being said. Moon kept recording him every time a dancing scene started to play since he kept bouncing his leg and was lip syncing the words. I was trying so hard not to laugh that by the time the credits were rolling, I was on the floor laughing my ass off along with Moon who was rewatching every video. Robby was sitting there with a red face clearly embarrassed by the situation. He grabbed a pillow off her couch and threw it at me which only made me laugh even harder. 

Moon- hey Jules, whose clothes are those?

she was looking at her phone when she asked, I looked at her as I was trying to calm myself down while wiping the tears from my eyes.

Julia- oh, there Xander's- why?

Moon- only asking since I sent the videos to Yazmine and she said that those were his clothes, can I question why you are wearing them?

I stood up as I was grabbing the pillow off the floor before hitting Robby with it

Julia- he let me wear them when I stayed at his house like two nights ago, I think? I just haven't changed out of them yet

she gave me this look, but I just shrugged it off as I looked at Robby

Robby- well honestly, I'm just grateful he's finally getting a girlfriend so he can leave me be for once

Moon- for once? I'm confused now

Julia- oh you're in for a treat

I sat down next to Robby as I stretched myself out on the couch with my back leaned against his side with his arm wrapped around me.

Robby- well when I met him, he called me hot which I know but still a little odd. Then when he had me come over so that I could fix things with Jules, he told me that if I ever wanted to get a break from her pretty much to go see him than when he helped us fixed things, he dead seriously told me that I should kiss him as a reward for helping 

Moon- that's wow, and I thought I was obsessive. Jules, I give you props for not killing him

Julia- I kill him with kindness, kidding. I just shrug it off, he can try all he wants but he won't be getting anywhere close to him with a 39 in a half foot pole.

Robby- so you were jealous!

I rolled my eyes as I looked at him, he still had that shit eating grin on his face as Moon laughed. I grabbed the pillow that was by my side before I hit him in the face with it and stood up.

Julia- I'm showering, since I need to wash away your rudeness!

he laughed as I walked out of the room and headed to Moon's bathroom. I closed the door and let out a breath as I looked into the mirror. the red mark had started to turn into a bruise making me sigh as I lightly touched it. I felt tears fill my eyes when the memories flashed through my head from earlier, had I really made her so mad that she did this? was I really that bad?
