Waking up in the morning, I could smell something being cooked downstairs. I yawned and sat up, Xander wasn't in the bed. I fixed my hair and walked downstairs, before entering the kitchen. Xander was making breakfast, whatever he was cooking smelled good. I stood by the doorway and didn't say anything till he turned around, chuckling.

Xander- Sorry, didn't know you were up. I was going to actually bring you breakfast in bed, figured you would need it.

Julia- You? Bring me? Breakfast in bed?

Xander- Keep saying it like that and I'll change my mind.

I didn't reply before I sprinted back upstairs to his room. I got back under the covers and waited for him as I checked my phone. Mainly replied to some message from Anthony, pretty much talking about how him and Lia have been texting non-stop since they hung out. I smiled at the message before Xander came in with a tray, it had my food on it along with a drink. He set it on my lap and sat down in front of me as I already started to dig in.

Julia- So you broke up with Tory? How was that?

Xander- Oh, it was fine. I didn't really like her that much anyways.

Julia- How did she take it?

Xander- She seemed upset but then started insulting me but than just left? So, I think she's fine.

Julia- *chuckles* I don't think that means she's fine, but I haven't talked to her in ages so I wouldn't know.

I continued to eat as he went into his closet and started to pull out some clothes for himself before looking at me.

Xander- We are going to the mall, trying to keep you from hiding out here so get dressed once you're done eating so we can go.

Julia- Yes, father.

He threw a sock at me making me give him a look of disgust before he left his room. I finished up eating and got up. I went over to my bag and changed into a pair of leggings before removing my shirt and changed into one of Robby's shirts that I had, get again stole. I grabbed my keys and phone after brushing my hair and went downstairs were Xander was waiting. We walked to my car, and both got in before I started to drive. I allowed him to have aux only because my phone kept getting messages and didn't want to hear it ding through the speakers every minute. Once we arrived, we started walking around. I went into a bunch of stores and Xander kept messing with everything he saw. We entered this one store and looked around; I was looking at this certain item when I heard my name called. I lifted my head up, only to see Johnson and this girl standing in front of me.

Johnson- I didn't think I would see you here.

Julia- Oh well my friend Xander wanted to come look around so I had to be his personally driver, is that your daughter?

Johnson- Mhm, this is Lilann and her brother Alex well he's somewhere.

I waved to the girl who waved back, not too long after that a boy came over to them. Guessing that was Alex, expect he was accompanied by an older man.

Johnson- Alex and Josh, this is Jules. I'm the one who was working with her boyfriend when he was on parole. Jules, my oldest son and husband.

Julia- It's a pleasure to meet you both.

Xander- Hey Jules! Can I get this? It would be funny to stick on people's-

I looked at him as he cut himself off seeing the family in front of me. He stood next to me awkwardly as I shook my head. Johnson chuckled as she looked at Xander. Her son looked about 16-17 around my age but closer to Xander's and the daughter had to be about 12-14.

Johnson- Is this the boy you are driver around? Are you babysitting him?

Julia- *laughs* Something like that, he's like a grown toddler at times.

Xander slapped my arm as he held his hand out to Johnson who shook it, and he did the same to Josh.

Xander- I'm Xander, uh sorry I don't know who you guys are.

Johnson- I'm Johnson but call me Nicole. I'm Robby's PO well was anyways. That's my husband Josh than my two kids Alex and Lilann.

Xander- Oh, I have heard alot about you from Jules and Robby.

Xander looked at Alex who seemed to already be looking at him, I looked between the two and tried not to smirk at the clear interest between the two.

Julia- So Lilann, have any special interest?

Lilann- Um I do hockey and softball but that's about it. Mom said you used to do karate, is that how you broke your hand?

Julia- Uh not exactly, I quit a while ago. What about to Alex?

Alex- Football is about it, I took in interest in lacrosse though. How about you, Xander?

Xander's face was red, almost like he was blushing. I had to hit his arm to break him from his trance.

Xander- Oh uh karate for Cobra Kai, I used to be in a different dojo but that didn't work out so well.

Alex- Is karate just something you valley people like?

I looked at him a little confused, but Johnson spoke up.

Johnson- We live a little bit out of Encino, so they don't go to your guys school or anything like that.

Julia- Makes alot of sense, well we should get going. It was nice seeing you and meeting you guys.

They all waved as I looked at Xander, I grabbed his wrist before starting to pull him out of the store. We got out and were starting to walk when his name was called making us stop and turn. Alex ran over to us and stopped once he was in front of Xander.

Alex- Hey uh I was wondering if I could have your number, think it would be cool to hang out sometime.

Xander- Yeah, tha- that would be pretty cool.

I watched as they exchanged numbers. Once they did that, Alex ran off making me look at Xander wiggling my eyebrows.

Xander- Don't even with that!

Julia- What! You were the one practically goggley eyeing the kid!

Xander- I was not! Besides, I'm sure he's straight so drop it!

Julia- Won't know till you ask!

We walked back to my car and got in. I started to drive. We went to a random fast-food place and grabbed some food before driving back to his place considering we both just wanted to eat and watch a movie. When we got there, Xander bought our food to the living room while I went upstairs to put my keys in my bag. When I opened my bag, I saw the letter Robby gave me for Christmas. I held it in my hands and looked at it. I haven't read it yet; I was too scared to. I sighed and let out a shaky breath before opening the letter. Better now than never, I guess.
