back to square one

I woke up the next morning to Moon knocking on the bedroom door. I sighed to myself and got up before opening it, she was all dressed which caused me to look at phone seeing it was only 8am.

Moon- I figured I should check your hand, that way if it isn't looking better, we can go to the ER. I of course will pay for it and everything so that way you won't injury it anymore.

Julia- Be my guest, it hurts like a bitch at the moment.

I moved to sit on the bed as she came in more, she removed the wrapping and to say it looked worse from last night is an understatement. She looked at me and I groaned knowing what she was going to say.

Moon- Get dressed and meet me downstairs in 10

I didn't get to protest as she walked out of the room. I sighed and walked to the dresser seeing Robby had left a pair of sweats here, so I put those on before grabbing one of my crop tops and slipped that on. I brushed out my hair as much as I could before attempting to put it in a ponytail than jogged downstairs where Moon was waiting for me. I slipped on my shoes and put my keys in my pocket before following her out to her car. Long story short, we got there and had to wait for almost two hours before I was taken back for X-rays. To sum that up, I did in fact break my hand and it was fun to explain to the doctor how I managed it. The worst part was when they had to cast it, I hated the texture, but I just went with a basic color and sat on my phone whilst she casted it. She drove me back to her place and I got out of her car before getting into mine since I needed to drive to Johnny's so that way, I can grab Robby's things.

I pulled in the driveway and got out before unlocking Johnny's door. I walked in and it was quiet, I shut the door and started walking down the hall right as Johnny came out of his room looking at me weird.

Johnny- How did you get in here?

Julia- I have a key.

Johnny- Okay? What are you doing here than?

Julia- Getting Robby's things.

He looked like he was about to say something, but I walked away from him and went into Robby's room seeing a few bags on his bed along with the 'FBI' shirt next to the bags. I sighed before grabbing the bags with one hand and using my other hand to grab the shirt. I turned around and walked out of his room, Johnny was in his little kitchen grabbing what looked to be a beer.

Johnny- Where are you going with all of that?

Julia- A friend's place, where is his skateboard?

Johnny- Right there, are you sure you can carry all of that?

I looked at the skateboard that was leaned against the wall, it had a crack on the top of it which pissed me off slightly, but I chose not to say anything. I didn't bother answering his question and I struggled to open the door. Johnny walked over to me and opened it, again I didn't say anything as I walked out the door and to my car. I put the bags down before opening the trunk and threw the stuff in the back right as he walked over to me with the skateboard and placed it inside. I slammed the trunk shut and walked over to the driver side with him following.

Johnny- Are you sure you can drive? I can take you wherever it is you need to go.

Julia- I drove here just fine and if this is your way of trying to see where I'm staying or trying to come with me to see Robby. It's not happening.

Johnny- You're going to see Robby?

Julia- Yeah, and you're not coming.

I got in the driver side and shut my door; I locked it before driving off. I drove over to the detention center and got out. I grabbed the bag of the things I had bought him the other day before looking at the 'FBI' shirt. I chuckled to myself and shut the trunk. I walked inside and the officer of course went through the bag before putting everything in a little container considering I can't bring a plastic bag into the place. Just like before, I followed the officer back and sat down in my usual spot waiting for him. The officer, that I learned his name was Riley looked down at my cast than at me.
