Interviews, interviews, and interviews again... Oh and torture!

Seriously? We only got to walk three blocks away when we got ambushed. We were walking in peace, heading towards some hotel when suddenly my body flew to the side and landed on the ground in an alley. I groaned as my left arm hurts from the impact with the pavement. I looked up and saw Tinman standing over me with his repulsors aimed at my face. I glanced towards the sidewalk where we were walking before and saw that Nathan had been pushed against a wall, with his hands on his back, by the redhead I still did not know the name of. I mentally cursed. We should have worn a disguise or something. Barton walked over to Tinman and I and handcuffed me, then pulled me up from the ground.

"No more running away now." He said and pushed me towards a black car that had appeared out of nowhere. I had not seen it before now. The door opened and I got pushed inside. I sat down on the seat and looked out the window, to see Nathan get dragged away.

"Hey! Where are you taking him?" I asked. No one gave me an answer, instead the car turned on and began driving. I cursed under my breath. This stuff always happens to me. I watched as we drove through New York City and to a big tower with a big A in a circle on. What the A stood for; I did not know. A secret organization? I shook my head. SHIELD could not just assume everyone knew what the A stood for. Especially not a demigod. I had only heard of SHIELD because of Leo and Annabeth. They had also talked about some other group at some time. That was the A they had talked about, but what it stood for I really could not remember, which somehow pissed me off now. The car stopped in front of the tower and an agent opened my door, then Barton grabbed me and dragged me out of the car. I looked back to see if Nathan were going to come out of a second car, but I could not see him anywhere. Where had they taken him? I got pushed forward and stumbled slightly, then entered the doors. Barton led me over to some woman at a table, he and the woman exchanged a few words then we turned around and walked towards an elevator. I could hear the lady behind me talk to someone.

"Uh, Mr. Barton Guy, can we take the stairs?" I asked, trying to stop. I was not going into the elevator, even though it might be faster. But I could not get myself to enter the metal box. Not after what happened in Ta- there. I still had nightmares of that place, but hey, that was not new. I looked at Barton.

"Sorry kiddo, but I'm not walking up to floor fifty-six." I widened my eyes. Fifty-six?! How many floors was there in this building? I swallowed as his words sank in. We were not taking the stairs. Of course, we were not. Barton pressed the button and we waited for a while. Flag man got to join us while we waited for the elevator. He stood right up at my right side, making sure I could not escape. I sighed. This day was just getting better and better.

I got pushed into the elevator and my throat immediately closed. I told myself to take deep breaths, but it was like the air could not get through. I moved towards the back of the elevator, to grab the railing, but I was pulled into the middle of the box. I closed my eyes tightly and breathed in through my nose and exhaled through my mouth, but it did not seem to work. My heart was racing, and I could hear the monsters outside scraping against the elevator doors. My vision blackened and then came back. They were not real. They were not real. I replayed the same sentence over and over in my head, trying to convince myself that the scraping sounds and howling was not real. I tried to calm myself. I felt something on my arm, but when I turned to look at what had touched me all I could see was black. The scraping got louder, and I felt the elevator shake. I felt something else on my other arm, but it was faint. It felt like monsters were clawing at my feet, trying to grab me and pull me back into the abyss. My knees buckled underneath me. A faint ding sounded. I looked up. Light came into the small box I was in. I stumbled forward and fell out of the box, landing on my knees with a thump. I took a shaky deep breath. My shoulders were shaking, so was my hands.
