Scars and questions

The pipes in the wall and roof shook and exploded with a loud boom. Water cascaded through the room, okay maybe not but let us just imagine that, okay. I do not want to talk about how it only sprawled and did not even flood the room. I WAS HAVING A BAD DAY, OKAY? Everyone has bad days, even the Great Percy Jackson. (Okay I am not that great...)

The pipes did in fact explode, but water sprayed from the roof, like when the fire alarm goes. Water sprayed everywhere; the loud sound covered my angered scream.

"What the hell?!" Barton yelled through the noise. He fell backwards off the chair and scrambled to get up. Water sprayed everywhere, soaking the file Barton had arrived with, the one with the annoying ass questions. My hair slowly got soaked and clasped to my forehead. My screaming slowly faded as I realized what was happening. I had just exposed myself. Maybe I could argue it away with being just a coincidental? Probably not. They would not believe me.

Barton stared at me, then hurried over to me.

"Stay away!" I yelled, trying to get free of the handcuffs.

He did not stay away. In fact. He got closer. He found a syringe from his pocket and injected the liquid into my arm. I glanced up at him. His eyes swirled with something... Shock and... fear? Everything slowly got blurry, and I felt my eyes getting heavy, slowly my head plopped down to my chest and everything became dark.

I groaned. My head was aching. I rolled over the edge of the brick bed and landed on the ground with a "Oof."

I opened my eyes and stared into the ground, then slowly lifted myself up. I looked around. The cell was different from the other. This one was this big hexagonal figure with big glass windows on each side. The room outside was dark, but I could just skim a few guards standing there, guarding me. I sighed. I sat up on the bed and tapped my fingers on my knee. My other leg was bouncing up and down. I had no idea of how I was going to get out. When I tried to pull in the water molecules in the air and in the pipes, I did not feel the familiar tug in my gut. It felt as if everything was drained from water. I felt sick in this weird glass hexagonal prison. I got up and began walking around in circles. I probably looked like some mistreated animals in one of those farms where they have stress and not enough space, because that is exactly how I felt like. I needed more space. I felt squeezed in here. As if I could not breathe.

I wonder where I was. I had not seen this place before. But then again. I had not seen the tower with the big 'A' before, well, I had seen the outside of it, but never the inside of it. I tapped my fingers on my pockets, feeling its emptiness. I missed Riptide, but it was the right choice to leave her behind. She would always be my favorite choice of weapon, but I could not take her with me. It just did not feel right. So, I left her behind. Like I left everyone else behind. At least I left a note. They did read the note. Right? Oh, Gods please say they read the note! If they didn't read it, then I'd be doomed when I come back sometime.

I looked up when someone cleared their throat. I looked at the Fury man aka Pirate Dude.

"Good to see you're finally awake, Perseus." He said with his annoying voice.

"It's Percy." I corrected him for the billionth time.

"And you've kept your cocky ass, I see." He commented. I rolled my eyes and tapped my leg. I was bored. I should start training some more. I could ask Nathan to train with me. Well, that is if he's not gone. I have no idea where he is.

"Where's Nathan?" I asked.

"How'd you make the water pipes explode?" Pirate man asked, ignoring my particularly important question.
