Should be punished for his crime
My head hurt profusely. I tried lifting my arm, but it wouldn't budge. I groaned and turned my head. My eyes flickered open for a second before I closed them tightly again, the light was too bright and cut into my eyes.
"Percy?" a voice sounded. My eyebrows scrunched together, and I slowly opened my eyes. My dad's relieved face came into my vision. "My son," he smiled and cupped my face.
"You scared us for a second or two," Apollo said and stood next to my father. "You were all creepy and wanted to kill Annabeth."
I frowned, "Annabeth?" My voice sounded hoarse. "Is she okay?!" I asked and tried to sit up, but Poseidon held me down.
Apollo nodded, "She's fine now, though she is a bit shocked." He assured me, which... didn't assure me much.
"Did I... did I hurt her?" I asked slowly.
"Well..." Poseidon glanced at Apollo, "You tried to choke her so..." he shrugged.
"I choked her?!" I yelled.
"Well... yeah... but she's fine now." Apollo smiled. "Just lay back down and relax, everything will be fine." He smiled.Slowly I lay back down, "did I hurt anyone else?" I asked slowly, almost too afraid of the answer.
Poseidon shook his head, "No, but Matteo has been banished." He told me.
"Why?" I frowned.
"He's the one who's been controlling you." Athena said and stepped inside the temple. "He ordered you to kill my daughter, and you did a pretty good job until Poseidon stopped you." She glanced at my father with a thankful look in her eyes.
"So, he was the big bad villain?" I frowned. "He didn't seem like it... if he was the bad guy, I'd think he would be like... Luke." I shrugged, "You know... the big baddy's accomplice."
"Hm, good point." Athena nodded. "Perhaps there's more than just seaweed inside that head of yours." I rolled my eyes."I'm just saying," I said and sat up in the bed. My head started pounding. "That, of course, I wasn't a big fan of Matteo, but he doesn't seem like a huge villain." I looked at them.
Apollo shrugged then smiled, "Anyway, it's good to see that you're back." He patted me on the shoulder. "Just drink the water from that glass and your headache should subside." He told me.
"How... Never mind," I shook my head. He was the God of healing, of course he'd know if I have a headache. He nodded and left the room. Athena smiled and gave me a nod before she left too.
Poseidon looked down at me, "Are you feeling alright?" he asked.
I shrugged, "I think so?"
He nodded, "Good. If you need anything, just send a prayer. You're allowed to leave after you've drink that water." He pointed to the glass of water next to the bed. "Your new friends are quite worried about you." He looked at me.
"Oh, the Avengers?"
He nodded, "Yeah. They seem to like you a lot." A smile broke out on my face. They liked me. "And from what I can see, they really appreciate you." He told me honestly.
"And I really appreciate them." I confessed. "Of course, we met on bad terms, but I've forgiven them about the whole terrorist thing." I shrugged.
"Oh, yeah. You've got to tell me about that later." He chuckled. I smiled up at him.
"I will." I promised.
"Good," he nodded. "Now, I'll let you rest. You can decide whether you want to go meet your friend or not." He smiled. I nodded and we said our byes.
