Perseus Jackson

The throne room sat in silence as they watched the Sea God fly across the room. As Poseidon slowly rose from the floor with a grunt and dusted off his clothes, the Avengers drew their weapons ready to defend themselves against Percy or protect Percy against the angered king of the gods.

Zeus slowly rose from his throne, his lightning bolt flashed into his hand. It's electricity cackled. He growled in anger.

"Lord Zeus-" Natasha slowly spoke up but was quickly interrupted by the angered God.

"Zip it!" He bellowed. "The Son of the Sea God has chosen his side in this war."

"There is no war-" Athena frowned.

"There is now!" he yelled at her. Then he turned to the son of Poseidon and snarled. "I knew you couldn't be trusted." He rose his hand holding the thunder bolt, ready to disintegrate the young demigod.

I looked up at Zeus. I tried to open my mouth to respond to him, but my mouth did not open. I tried to raise my arm, but my arm did not raise.

Percy looked up at the king of the Gods.

I could not control my body.

The demigod took a step forward and slowly gathered the water from the fountain behind him, ready to attack the Gods.

"Brother," Poseidon spoke up. He coughed into his arm and trudged over to his brother. "It is my son you are about to disintegrate." He warned him.

"So?" Zeus raised an eyebrow at the other God.

"If you kill him, there will be a war." Poseidon threatened.

"There is already a war." Zeus waved him away, but Poseidon did not budge.

"I will go to war." Poseidon growled. "I'll fight you. I'll kill you and take over the thrown." He clenched his hands into fists by his side.

Zeus eyed his brother warily. He looked between the young demigod and his father.

"We will also go at war against you." Tony spoke up and took a step forward, he looked the god of the Skies in the eyes.

"Tony! Don't anger the God!" Steve quietly hissed at the billionaire. "But I still agree with you." He added after some thought. Tony smirked.

"We'll do anything to protect the kid." Tony said.

Percy glanced at the Avengers.

No.

His right hand twitched.

Stop.

His eyes swirled faster; the teal blue color glowed a tiny bit brighter.

Watch out!

"Watch out!" Annabeth's voice yelled, but it was too late.

In the speed of light, water rushed around Percy's body and aimed straight towards the Avengers, hitting Tony square in the chest and sent him skidding across the floor with the rest of his friends.

I needed a drink. Something to make this bearable.

"Oof." Bruce huffed. Apollo flashed over to them and quickly checked them for injuries.

"Nothing major," the god smiled. "Only a couple of scratches." He spoke, then turned to Percy, "Why'd you do that?" he tilted his head. The demigod only watched him.

"Because that's not Percy," Nathan spoke up after being silent for majority of the time. "It's the thing that's controlling him who's in charge right now." He looked warily at the demigod. "Percy's not present."
