Chapter 5 (Part 1)

Liz's POV

I didn't get much sleep because every time I closed my eyes, I would go back to 3 years back and 'the incident'....

After a while I gave up and went to take a shower.

As soon as the water touched my skin, I sighed and silent tears fell down my face. I don't know how long I stood there but when I got out of the bathroom, the sun had risen. I checked the clock on the night table and it read 8:05AM. I decided to go down for breakfast to the small Hawaiian Restaurant.

As I made my way to the elevator it stopped at my floor and the doors slid open. Michael walked out.

"Oh Liz, I came to find you" he told me and I stopped on my tracks.

"Okay, what's up?" I asked him, but my voice sounded too rough and more like a croak.

"I... heard about last night, and we (the executives and me) decided that today's filming will be suspended. Tomorrow we'll work a little harder but we wanted you to take a day for yourself" he finished and I nodded.

"I really appreciate that" I replied, looking at my feet, embarrassed. Did everyone know about what happened?

"I'm so sorry you had to go through that experience, but you're okay and that's what matters" he told me and I could feel tears threatening to fall so I thanked him and quickly stepped inside the opened elevator and pressed the button for the Lobby.All this so I could escape the pity in his eyes.

As I got out of the elevator and walked towards the Restaurant some people who were in the movie with me walked past me but then stopped and called me back.

"We heard about the whole thing. We are so glad nothing worse happened. If you need anything at all, just let us know" they offered and I nodded, then walked away.

Josh's POV

As morning came without me sleeping one bit, I just kept replaying the scene from yesterday, her screams, her tears, her fear, it was horrible.... then I remembered when I found her in the beach and hugged her, how she said 'please not again'...

Oh shit.  

I ran up to Liz's room but apparently she wasn't there. I panicked a bit but then took a deep breath.

If I were her where would I be if not in my room? I thought about it for a moment and it hit me. I would be eating!

So I ran to the elevator to go to the first floor and look for her at the Hotel's Restaurant. As I stepped inside the place, I scanned the room slowly until I spotted a mass of blonde curls at the back of the place. I swiftly made my way and avoided bumping into anyone until I made it.

"Liz!" I exclaimed and she turned around to look at me. She smiled up at me but it didn't reach her eyes, those blue orbs were full of sadness and anguish.

"We need to talk" I stated and she nodded.

"I knew this was coming" she said softly. I sat down on a chair across from her.

"I'll tell you the whole story, but you have to promise not to tell anyone.... and after I'm done you are in charge of distracting me from everything. Deal?" she asked and I nodded.

"Deal"
