Chapter 10 Food!!!

*I was snuggling as deep as I possibly could into the warmth I was enclosed in. I have never felt this warm ever in my entire life. Sure my hair sufficed for what it was used for being nice and matted,keeping me warm. Tho I have never felt heat like this. It was gentle and constant never fleeting. My lips tugged upward a bit,I was not use to this feeling, it wasn't a snarl it was more relaxed.I slowly drifted off into my dream world. A place where I could see anything and everything as I imagined it.*

~Dream~

*I was sitting in a meadow with a light spring breeze ruffling the new growth and life of flowers. Mountains were in the background and were being engulfed in lavender flowers. I was slowly walking towards the mountain,when I heard my wolf pack calling me back. Beaconing me to go with them. I turned around to go back and follow them,but I felt a pang of sadness wash over me when I started to turn around. I looked back at the mountains and they weren't there anymore rather a boy,no man with sandy brownish blond hair and forest green eyes was there. I looked between my pack and the man not sure who to go to. Why was this so hard to decide? I don't even know this guy! My dream became vivid then I was engulfed in darkness once again.*

*I huffed out a breath of air and tried to sit up ,but was held down by some strong arms. My heart sped up a bit. I wasn't sure who was keeping me from moving,but I wasn't liking it. I inhaled the scent and I was met with mountains and lavender. When his hand moved it left the tingly shocks on my back. I leaned forward to try and get a better scent image of him. I leaned down to smell his hair and when his hair brushed my nose it was soft and silky,not like wolves or mine for that matter. I wanted to know how thick his hair was to get an idea of what season it was to him,so I brought my nose down deeper and figured out to him it was summer. His hair was shorter than needed for spring and not long enough for winter so he is on summer time. I heard a low chuckle then the shifting of the alpha. I continued to hold my ground wanting to know more about him. I took one more deep breath of his scent sat back closed my eyes to visualize what his build was about how old he was and a few other things.*

*My little mate continued to cuddle deeper into my chest as I brought her into my room so she could sleep. She had cuddled so close to me I was forced to lay down with her,not that I minded tho. She had a smile plastered on her face as she was drifting off into dreamland. I continued to lay there awake with her until I closed my eyes. When I opened them I was met by my little mate trying to get up. I kept my grip tight on her,I felt her heart speed up a bit then slow down. She moved closer to me,I cracked my eyes and saw her hovering over me breathing in my scent. She buried her nose in deeper into my hair. I let out a chuckle at her doing this. I thought she would jerk back and growl at me when she heard me chuckle,but no she didn't she held fast then took another long breath leaned back and closed her eyes studying my scent. it was funny to see her do this.*

"So do you like my scent little mate?"

*She sat there processing what I said for a moment then she came back with her answer which made me laugh even harder.*

"Alpha 21, t ..t.two sib..lings, alpha for thr..ee win..ters,on s..u..mm..e..r."

"How do you know I have two siblings, I am twenty one, and have been alpha for three years? I never told you that."

"Scent did."

*She got all that from my scent? Man she is really good with scents. That would explain why she was smelling my hair. I heard her stomach growl very lowly in saying it was hungry,but my little mate didn't even move when it started to sound like a whale matting call.*

"If you were hungry you should have just said so."

~I.. prov~

*The Alpha was currently leading me down to the entrance of the cave,but then we turned away from the mouth of it. My feet met cold ground again and it felt so nice,but we weren't outside to go hunt. Why is that?*

"So what would you like?"

"C..a..r..a..b..u..e"

"Sorry we dot have that,but we do have beef,chicken,and pork."

*I hear meat!*

"What would you like out of those since you want meat?"

*I didn't know what any of those things were so I think I will go with pork.*

"P..o..r..k"

"Ok bacon it is then."

*The Alpha set the meat on the counter I could smell it already. I grabbed a piece with my teeth,but I couldn't get it. I got something foul tasting instead. Must be the hide of the animal. I sunk my teeth into the juicy meat. I was surprised at how easy it was too pull apart. There wasn't that much meat tho.*

*I turned around and reached for the pan,then I put it on the stove to heat up. When I turned around to grab the bacon and cook it,it wasn't there anymore! I saw my little mate had some saran wrap on her face. Realization suddenly hit. She ate the meat raw!*

"Little mate you aren't so post to eat the meat raw! It is bad for you!"

"Always eat meat raw. Sharpens teeth and helps immunity."

* I facebalmed myself for leaving the meat out on the counter in front of her. I forgot for a second she had been in the wild her whole life. Well that just means she has killed. Wait a second if she has been eating meat raw her whole life she would have to have some parasite of sorts! Looks like the pack doctor is going to have to come in again to treat her.*
