*We sat on the grass and slowly from the trees a figure appeared I couldn't quiet tell who it was from this distance,but I knew whoever it was wasn't a threat. I sat patiently waiting as the figured approched. No way,my eyes had to be deceiving me! This isn't possible!*
*The figure that came closer looked just like me only older.*
"Who are you?Why do you look like me?"
"Take a guess."
*She was giving a gentle smile as she looked at me. I studied her for a moment and I noticed a scare going around her neck realization hit. This was my mom! My birth mom.*
"It's not possible...you were...killed."
"No, yes my throat had been slit,but it didn't cut deep enough to kill me just leave a nasty scar and lose of blood."
"Ivy who is this why does she look just like you?"
*I had to take a few breaths and pushed a few tears that were threatening to break.*
"This,this is my birth mom...."
*Alexander gently rubbed my back in a comforting way. I didn't know what to say and I don't think he did either.*
"You are probably wondering if I have been alive where I have been all this time. Well it is hard trying to get your daughter back from the Blood Moon pack and then trying to follow a wolf pack."
"Why would it have been hard for you to get me back from a pack you were Alpha of?"
"They thought I was the one who had brought the roughs into the pack along with your deceitful father."
"You didn't tho...he wasn't even your true mate...."
*I wanted to go and hug my mom,but I don't think I could do that barley even knowing her.*
"Yes he was,to think he was also a blood sucker!"
*I cocked my head at this I had no idea what she was talking about with him being a blood sucker.*
"I see you still don't know everything yet,a vampire in short is another term."
*My blood ran cold at this.*
"So not only was he deceitful,a good for nothing, and a murdur ,but he was a vampire!"
*I was starting to see red the only thing keeping me ground was Alexanders voice and Snow slowly taking over trying to calm me down.*
"Yes,he was a vampire,he wanted my high rank so he disguised himself as my mate killed him and used his scent so I would think he was my mate."
"What about Ash?If you weren't dying then why is she still with me and are you still a shifter?"
"There was too big of a margin that I could have died with what was going in outside that I couldn't take the risk so I let Ash be another voice of reason,but you two were too closely compatable with each other I can see that you overpowered your original fox. As for me being a shifter it is complicated even without a fox shifter having there fox if the majority of blood had a strong enough streak of fox then even without a fox they can still shift so it a sense yes and no."
*This was beginning to get too be too much for me and tears started to come down. My moms eyes softened and she had her arms outstretched for me to go. I wasn't sure at first,but I quickly made my mind up and leaned into her embrace. She gently stroked my hair in a motherly way.*
"It's ok,you don't need to be so upset."
"I never imagined I would meet my mother and while she was alive at that...."
"Well you did,so dry your eyes."
*I leaned back wiping my eyes from the tears and a slight smile eased onto my lips.*
"It's kinda scary how much you look like me heheh."
*A grin broke on my face.*
"Your telling me seeing a look alike come up to me had me quiet confused."
*I stepped back over to Alexander and looked up to him with a gentle smile.*
"So if I have this correct he is your mate?"
"Yeah."
"Well now are you going to introduce him to me?"
"This is Alexander the Alpha of this pack."
"Well it is nice to metting you Alexander,as you have already gotten I am Ivy's mom otherwise know as Lilly."
"This might sound a bit rude,but why is it you look so young you would have to be what,thirty fourty?"
"Fox shifters remain young looking a lot longer in fact we live twice as long as any other shifter as well as blood sucker. We practically stop aging once we hit twenty one. Since you are the mate of Ivy,you have a goo deal of fox shifter blood within you it may go back several generations,but you undoubtedly do have fox blood which means you will live as long as Ivy expect since you have become fully mates, I suspect?"
*Alexander gave a slight smirk and bent down and kissed me on the forehead.*
"You guessed correct."
"Well if you are lucky then you Will probably live to see a new era or two I know I have. To think I had been so hopeful of finding my mate I fell for such a cheap parlor trick."
"How long exactly will we live to be?"
"Well the longest a fox shifter had ever lived was probably in my best guess from when the first shifters came to this earth to once the fox shifters were being killed off."
*My jaw dropped that was at least ten hundred millennia!*
"How long do we live for?!"
"Till we are killed."
"How old are you?"
"Only about a millennia old I am still fairly young. "
*My brain was spinning from this knowledge . Until I am killed I would live....*
