Chapter 31 The Past

*Alaxander and I were walking down the stairs.I took a whiff of something that was familiar then bolted down the stairs leaving Alaxander confuse once again. I was met with the sight of an Alpha and his mate. The Alpha turned around and his mate turned around to my direction too.*

"Ivy what's wrong?"

*The Alphas mate and I just looked a each other with confused looks.*

"Ivy hello are you with me?"

"Rachel what's wrong?"

"I..I..Ivy is that really you?"

*Tears were brimming her eyes now.*

*All I could do was nod my head yes.*

"Little mate do...."

*Before Alaxander could say anything or the other Alpha my old friend Rachel and I ran to each other and were embarrassed in a huge hug.*

"I thought that you were dead. When I heard you had been taken to the forest to die I tried to find you but a storm hit covering up the tracks."

"A wolf family took me in Rachel,I never thought I would see you again!"

"Alaxander do you know what's going on?"

"Your as clueless as me. Little mate can you fill us in?"

*My vision was slowly becoming clearer and Snow was letting my emotions fuel her energy thus my blue eyes.*

"Yeah,Rachel was my only friend in the Blood Moon pack and perhaps the only one who didn't discriminate me."

"I am finding it hard to believe that you have been alive this whole time Ivy and so close to home too!"

"So this was your childhood friend you were telling me about that had died when you were little?"

"Yeah,but she wasn't dead after all."

*Rachel and I had broken from our embrace and were now looking at each other seeing I seeing what she looked like and she seeing how how I had changed in the sixteen years we hadn't seen each other.*

"Your still as short as ever and you haven't tanned at all Ivy."

"Your still a giant to me and your so tan!"

"How is it you survived with wolves his whole time?Didn't they try and eat you?"

"No,they raised me. I took over the pack when I was older and became their Alpha helping with hunts and leading them through winter to summer grounds following our food."

"How is it your so skinny?!"

"I am not skinny,I am lean."

*Rachel shook her head with a smile plastered on her face.*

"So you going to introduce me?"

"Oh yeah, this is my mate Drake. He is the Alpha of the Cresent Moon pack."

"I always knew you were going to have an Alpha as a mate."

*I gave a gentle smile feeling like a kid again talking with Rachel.*

"Have you found your mate yet?"

"Yeah,Alaxanders my mate."

*Alaxander came up behind me and wrapped his hands around my waist and rested his head on my shoulder and pulled my small five foot one fram close to his six foot ten fram.Rachel gave a small amused smile.*

"Well I approve of him,he will be a marvoluse mate for you."

*I held Rachel's mates look and looked into his eyes studying his soul.I gave a gentle smile.*

"I approve of yours, he has a clean soul."

"What is it with you two approving of us hmm?"

"When we were little we made a promise that unless the other approved of our chosen mate we wouldn't be mates."

*With this Drake and Alaxander laughed.*

"We would have been your mates weather you two approved it or not."

"Oh really,as I remember it I didn't actually accept you as a mate."

*I had a smirk on my face and Alaxander was left speechless. Rachel broke out laughing and so did Drake.*

"Don't be so hard on him Ivy."

"I am just messing with you. Of course I accept you as my mate. Even more so now that Rachel approves."

"Good, I was worried their for a second. You do tend to be pretty harsh sometimes."

"It only comes with the full package."

*I turned back to Rachel and took one more whiff and something clicked.*

"We will talk later."

"Rachel gave me a confused look but nodded."

"So Drake what brings you here?"

"I had heard you found your mate. Rachel and I came to congratulate you. Never did I think your mate was one of Rachel's childhood friends and her best friend that was supposedly dead at that!"

"It takes a lot more than burning my feet and throwing me out into a snow storm, to kill me."

*Their eyes grew wide at my response.*

"I never realized Alpha Jhon had done that too you Ivy. He had said he had talked to you, then you ran away and died in the woods."

*I shook my head no.*

"From that day forward I am no longer the same Ivy you knew."

*My eyes shifted from red to blue then back to their blue and green. Rachel's eyes softened at my response.*

"Tho because of that I became stronger."

*Alaxander gave a light squeeze at my last sentence.*

"I also found my mate."

*I looked up at Alaxander and had a playful glint in my eyes.*

"Even if I fell into a bear trap while in the process."

*Rachel's eyes grew wide at this."
