I woke up the next morning to the sound of my brother stumbling around my room. He must be trying to leave to go see Vicki before Elena wakes up to catch him. Couldn't he have done it more quietly. How Elena hadn't caught him already is beyond me.

"Where are you going?" I grumble out as I sat up and rubbed my eyes, even though I knew exactly where he was going. Jeremy halted like a deer in headlights.

"Sorry for waking you up, I have to go finish a birdhouse in the wood-shop." Jeremy lied.

"That's the worst lie I have ever heard, Jeremy. Please tell me you weren't planning on telling Jenna that." I tell him and his face turns beet red in embarrassment.

"Head on out to see Vicki, Jeremy. I'll tell Jenna you went to meet with a teacher about a test before classes start. At least that lie is sort of believable." I said and he looked at me in shock.

"How did you know I was going to see Vicki?" He asked.

"I see the way you look at her, Jer. And if she makes you happy then I'm not going to stop you from seeing her. Just don't stop being my little brother, okay?" I told him. His whole face lit up.

"You are the best sister ever!" Jeremy said, rushing over to me and giving me a kiss on my forehead.

"Yeah, yeah. Now get going." I say shoving him away from me. Without wasting any more time, Jeremy rushes out of my room and out of the house.

I sigh, knowing there's no point in trying to go back to sleep so I get changed and leave the solitude of my room.

I greet Jenna and Elena follows soon after.

"What are you all dressed up for?" Elena asks suggestively.

"Jeremy's parent teacher conference. Which hairstyle says I'm parent-ally respectable?" Jenna asks, holding her hair up in a makeshift ponytail.

"Sexy stewardess." I say leaning against the doorway. Jenna puts her hair down so it's framing her face.

"Boozy housewife." Elena chimes in.

"Up it is. You two seem feisty today."

"I feel good. I've decided to just go with it and see where the day takes me." Elena said.

"I'm always feisty, I just felt like vocalizing it today." I told her with a flip of my hair and they both chuckled.

"Where's Jeremy?" Elena asked and Jenna looked confused.

"He left to go meet with a teacher about a test before classes started." I said and they both nodded. Elena seemed a little skeptical, but didn't say anything.

Once I got to school I was kidnapped by the blond cheerleader. Apparently after our chat last night, I've become her new best friend. Lord have mercy on me. She dragged me around the school when we weren't in class and managed to make me promise to help her out with some different town events. I didn't mind too much though since it gave me an excuse to be at some of the places when supernatural shit happens.
