Today was the day of a football game where Damon tries and fails to try to compel Elena. As funny as it would be to see Damon get slapped, I've decided against going to the game.

I think I'd rather spend the day painting my new house. Deciding that I could skip a day since it's a half day anyway because the first football game of the season is tonight. This town really pushes school events here because of how boring it is here. It's sad.

I get dressed in some old clothes I don't mind getting paint on and head to the hardware store to pick up paint.

After selecting the paints I wanted and all the equipment I needed. I checked out and hauled all of the stuff to what I was going to refer to as the safe house.

I spent the rest of the day painting the walls and had made arrangements for a truck to pick up my old furniture and drop off the new furniture I ordered tomorrow. Once satisfied with my work, I drove home.

Hungry I decided to make a 30 minute beef stroganoff that I had read about online. I put the leftover in the fridge and headed upstairs to my room.

I changed into my pajamas and got comfy on my bed.

I decided to read through one of the psychology books until Damon got here

I decided to read through one of the psychology books until Damon got here. I was bored so why not ruin his stalker moment with Elena? Three hours later I heard my sister go to bed. I waited a few minutes before going downstairs under the ruse of getting water. By the time I came back upstairs I could see Damon through the crack in Elena's door. He stroked her cheek and I decided that was the perfect time to ruin the moment.

"That's your brother's girl, you know?" I say quietly, taking a sip from my water bottle. Damon's head whipped in my direction, surprise coloring his face. Just because you're a vampire, doesn't mean you are good at sneaking around. I walked back to my room and sat down at my vanity. Not surprisingly, Damon followed me.

Damon watched me through the vanity mirror as I brushed through my lucious brown locks. Probably getting flashbacks to the time Katherine caught him staring at her through her vanity back in 1864.
